About our Small Pet Boarding

My name is Nicki. I have always had pets and have bred and shown pedigree rabbits, guinea pigs and cats for many years. All members of my family are completely animal mad so you can guarantee your pets will have alot of love and attention whilst they are with us.

Accommodation:

The hutches are in an enclosed building sheltered from the weather and protected from foxes etc. During the colder months if necessary the hutches are covered and insulated to keep your pets warm and safe. We have some heated inside accommodation for house pets.
All hutches are well maintained and have sturdy fox proof wire and are secured with bolts. They are cleaned and disinfected regularly.

We provide all the bedding materials, hay, grass and greens.

You are welcome to bring your pet's toys, treats or litter trays to have during their stay. Bowls and bottles are provided by us.

Exercise:

We have outside runs with covers and tunnels so your pet will be able to have a bounce about on the grass (weather permitting)

Health & Hygiene:

We provide fresh water, dried grass, hay and fresh greens on a daily basis. The amount of dry food (to be supplied by the owner) will be given as you direct.

When you bring your rabbit we will need to see proof of the vaccination (Myxomatosis, VHD-1 & VHD-2) which must be up to date and include the address and details of your vet. If any medical problem arises we will take your pet to our vet for treatment and any costs incurred will be payable by you when you collect your pet.

Your pet should be treated for worms and parasites and we advise in the summer months you should treat them against Fly Strike. (We offer a service to carry out these treatments)

If you are not contactable whilst you are away we will also need details of an emergency contact with whom we can liaise in case of any problems arising with your pet whilst it's staying with us.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

We charge on a per night basis.
Single rabbit - £10
2 rabbits sharing - £13
3 rabbits sharing - £16
Single guinea pig - £9
2 guinea pigs sharing - £12
3 guinea pigs sharing - £14
Minimum boarding charge: £20

We require payment at the time of booking. Any additional unforeseen costs eg. vet fees, extra food etc are payable on collection of your pet.
