About our Small Pet Boarding
Hamsters, Mice etc.Professional and experienced hedgehog owners/ fosters. Having adopted and cared for a high number of African pygmy hedgehogs, if you feel you need some time away and want the comfort of your pygmy hedgehog being in great care then look no further.
Daily picture updates, nightvision camera monitoring so you can watch your hedgehog in their enclosure while away also available.
Personal camera provides 24/7 playback so you can rewind and see your hedgehog's nightly activities without having to stay up to watch them and their adventures!
Accommodation:
4ft viviarium with igloo, wood and fabric tunnels and quilts. Housing is constant 24 degrees with backup thermostat and heat bulbs for emergencies. All fitted with nightvision cameras.
Soft toys, balls, dig boxes and catnip fabrics all included.
Exercise:
Daily handling. Vivariums contain carolina storm wheels.
Health & Hygiene:
Premium dry and wetfood depending on dietary preference.
Can administor syringe feeding for older hedgehogs, or medicines.
Clipping and baths free of charge during boarding

£8 a day.

We offer a pick up/ drop off service for pet owners outside of York. For £5 we will collect/ drop off your hedgehog at the train station so you can focus on the journey home.
Owners requiring pick up outside of York will be required to cover fuel costs if they can't travel to the boarding themselves.

I wouldn't trust my hedgehog with anyone else. Josh keeps us updated on everything Apricot does, we get regular photos and there's a livestream. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience your hedgehog gets. No request is too big as any special requirements are met. I'd give them 10 stars if I could

Looked after my hedgehog at the start of the year during covid. Very friendly and provided constant updates, photos and videos. Owner provided a livestream so I can watch my pet all day while away. Can't wait to use again.
