Ripon Small Animal Boarding

Jess has been looking after my guinea pigs for a number of years now and there is nowhere else I would rather send them when we go away. They enjoy their time in the ‘piggy hotel' The guinea pigs get time outside on a daily basis and Jessica is very friendly and flexible with drop of and collection times

Our guinea pigs have boarded with Jessica for the last 4 years, and she provides a brilliant service with clean and spacious facilities. She has always been able to accommodate us (often at short notice!), and drop offs & pick ups have always been seamless. Jessica is a pleasure to deal with and clearly adores the animals, I would have no hesitation in recommending her to others.

I highly recommend Ripon Small Animal Boarding. I have been leaving my guinea pigs with Jessica for the last few years. They have always been very well looked after and cared for. The set up they have is great, plenty of outdoor space and is very safe and secure.

Our two little piggies, Penelope and Smorsie were so well looked after whilst we went away for a week. Having just lost another much loved pet, we were anxious to leave them but Jessica was so reassuring and clearly loves what she does. An amazing place. Our three guinea pigs have been so well looked after this year, and the accommodation is always fab! It's great leaving our piggies with Ripon Small Animal Boarding, as we know they genuinely care for the pets they are looking after! Highly recommend

We have been boarding our guinea pigs at Ripon Small Animal Boarding for over five years. We live over 30 miles away and whilst travelling south, we can drop off our guinea pigs on the way, even if we are are going north to the airport, we wouldn't consider leaving our animals with anyone else. Jessica looks after them so well and is so friendly, we know they are in very good hands.

I was very happy with how my five guinea pigs were looked after for two weeks in August 2026. The attached picture was taken just after they returned home where they seemed happy and healthy. They were boarded together in a clean indoor pen of similar size to where they normally live and they were put outside in a run from time to time. It was nice to receive pictures and videos while we were away showing how they were getting on.

Jessica was just fantastic from day one! So quick to respond to messages and really accommodating as well. We had 3 rabbits stay with her while we were on holiday. The bunnies were so well looked after and happy- I don't think they wanted to come home! I would highly recommend Ripon Small Animal Boarding. Such a friendly and personal service and so much genuine care for the animals. I'd leave any of my small pets here again very confidently. Thank you Ripon Small Animal Boarding team!

Jessica was great at answering my questions and looked after my two guinea pigs brilliantly for over 3 weeks while we were on holiday. Good price and sent me photos to update me every so often which was a lovely touch. Excellent service. Thank you :)

Jess is amazing and we wouldn't leave our two guinea pigs anywhere else. We have been coming since they were babies and they seem to settle super fast. Its a lovely environment for them and they are well looked after.

Excellent care given to our guinea pig when he stays with Jess & Oliver. Lovely couple and very friendly - you know that your pet will be well looked after. Very reasonable fees. Highly recommended

We have used Ripon Small Animal Boarding for our rabbits for the past few years and Jessica has always taken excellent care of them. Booking is straight forward and Jessica is reliable and knowledgeable in the care of small furry animals! I always feel confident that our rabbits will be looked after well.

We have been using Ripon Small Animal Boarding for many years now, probably about 7-8 I think!! The care & commitment from Jess towards our rabbits is always outstanding, nothing is too much trouble & you can tell she genuinely cares.
