Rhys & Paws was founded out of a deep love for animals and a desire to provide a safe and comfortable home away from home for pets. Our passion for animals shines through in everything we do, making Rhys & Paws the perfect choice for your pet's next stay.

We are fully insured and Susie is DBS checked.

Rhys has an unwavering passion for animals. Pursuing his education through Elective Home Education, he has been diligently studying online to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to bring Rhys & Paws to life. His commitment and drive shine through in everything he undertakes.

Over the years, Susie has cared for a variety of pets, including house rabbits, cats, dogs, and her current companions, Barnaby the guinea pig and Biscoff the Mini Lop.

She manages her own embroidery and gift business while also dedicating her time to supporting Rhys with his education and the Rhys & Paws initiative.

Accommodation:

Our Rabbit Boarding service offers roomy, comfortable hutches. Only Bonded animals are kept in the same hutch.
Thermostatically controlled heating to allow boarding all year round.
24 hour camera to ensure safety.

Exercise:

Plenty of daily exercise to ensure your happy, active, and healthy throughout their stay with us.
Outside runs available daily when the British weather allows.

Health & Hygiene:

For the safety and well-being of all pets in our care, it is essential that any pet boarding with us is in good health. Please ensure all medical conditions and treatments are disclosed to us prior to boarding. If your pet shows signs of illness or injury on arrival that we are not aware of, we may need to refuse boarding. This policy is in place to protect your pet and others in our care.

Rabbits are required to be vaccinated against Myxomatosis and Rabbit (Viral) Haemorrhagic Disease (R(V)HD), as these illnesses can cause severe suffering. Most vets now offer a combined annual vaccine to protect against both diseases. Proof of vaccination must be provided when your rabbit arrives for boarding.

A £5.00 fee will apply for each visit to the vet, and any veterinary costs incurred will be the owner's responsibility.

Payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance will qualify for a full refund. For cancellations made between 24 and 72 hours prior to the booking, a 50% refund will be issued. Unfortunately, cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable.

Prices are charged per day and include both the arrival and departure days, regardless of the time of day your pet is dropped off or picked up.
