About our Small Pet Boarding

Hi my name is Ellys Brown and I am a student Veterinary Nurse specialising in caring for small animals, in particular Guinea Pigs! I also care for Gerbils, Hamsters, Rats, Mice, Degus and Chinchillas. I also regularly volunteer with the RSPCA, caring for their small animals. Personally, i own 10 guinea pigs, 6 gerbils, a syrian hamster and a crested gecko. I offer a safe and comfortable stay for you pets whilst you are away!

Accommodation:

Guinea pigs are housed in an outbuilding which has:
- 24 hr CCTV for your pets safety
- Air conditioning in summer
- Heating in winter
- Locked door and side gate
- 4ft or 6th hutches - lined with bath mats/fleece liners (but owner may bring their own items)
- Fed with Burgess Excel Guinea Pig Nuggets unless owners bring own food & daily Hay and Vegetables
- Hutches are cleaned daily
Other rodents are housed in their own cages; cages and food must be brought by owners. They are kept inside the main house.

Exercise:

Outdoor run in summer and indoor run in winter. The summer runs are always covered to protect them from the sun, with lots of grass for them to munch on. They will be given daily runs and cuddles!

Health & Hygiene:

I also offer grooming services such as nail clipping, hair trimming/brushing and bathing for guinea pigs at a small extra fee. I will check the health of your guinea pigs/rodents on arrival. I can give your pets their prescribed medications if necessary and will take them to my local vet. (see terms and conditions on website for more details).
