Kate has been just absolutely incredible looking after my bunnies while we went on holiday. The booking process was simple and lots of information is sent providing answers to many questions. Hotel / house was easy to find and check in / check out was seamless. Kate was very responsive if I sent a WhatsApp just checking in and I felt very reassured they were in the best hands. I also had some lovely photos sent which really made me smile that looked so happy and settled. Our flight was delayed and Kate was very kind in changing the collection time last minute to help. 5 star service. The bunnies came home and were so happy and not phased by any of it which shows they had a wonderful holiday too! I will return to Kate and her wonderful service as also recommend to others. If you're worrying about leaving your fur babies - don't! Thank you Kate. You're doing an amazing job! X

Given we needed a last minute booking for August 2023, Kate couldn't have been more helpful. Booking our rats stay was simple and communication with Kate was excellent. Our rats were well looked after, which made our holiday easier to enjoy. Kate followed all our requests in terms of our rats needs and behaviours. We used our own cage, as it was the first time we had left our rats. Dropping and picking up was simple and well organised. Photos and communication from Kate whilst we were away, gave us reassurance. Since coming home, the rats are happy and content; they actually seem to have bonded more as a mischief. Highly recommend Kate and Sylvan Small Animal Pet Hotel and we will be booking again for next summer hols. Lula, Saffi, Raisin and Apricot thank you too.

Lovely spacious accommodation for small animals. My rabbit recently enjoyed her week stay in one of the cottages. The owner is really nice and follows all your instructions on feeding etc. would recommend and will use again in the future

Our pet rabbit Tiny has just returned from his holiday at Sylvan pet hotel and we would happily have him stay again. From the day I enquired about booking him in to the day we dropped him off the communication was good and Kate was welcoming and helpful. Tiny was a little stressed from the car journey but when we arrived there was a calm and relaxing atmosphere just what he needed 😊 Returning home from our holiday Kate had emailed some lovely photo's of what Tiny had been up to in the week, this made us smile and put our minds to rest that he had been take care of and it was a really nice touch! We really appreciated how well Tiny was looked after and definitely recommend Sylvan hotel for all those who need their little pets looking after. Tiny had enjoyed his stay and will look forward to his next holiday!! 🤣

We boarded our 3 Rabbits with Kate at Sylvan. They had a lovely time and were extremely well cared for. One of our buns had recently lost his Wifebun, but he had a lot of TLC from Kate. One of the other ones needed meds every day and looked bouncier than ever when we picked them up. I would highly recommend Sylvan small Animal Pet Hotel. This was the first time Nala has stayed at any boarding service and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Kate answered any questions I had, which put my mind at ease and asked some questions about Nala which was very reassuring. I received regular updates on how Nala was getting on whilst I was away. There was also an option to purchase photos Kate was able to get of Nala at a reasonable price .This was a brilliant addition. Will be returning!!! My husband and I were very worried about finding a good place to leave our 3 babies as we had a very bad experience with a previous boarding facility; I found Sylvan online, read all the lovely 5 star reviews and saw photos of the facilities and once I had a friendly and informative phone call with the owner herself I knew this would be the perfect, safe place for our 3 buns to enjoy their own holiday while we went overseas. All our instructions were carried to the lettre, our medically challenged Nethie was well looked after and they all looked healthy, relaxed, happy, and content. Cannot wait to book another trip knowing our beloved animals will be in the safest of hands.

What an amazing service, we trusted Kate completely with out beloved birds Buddy and Billy, while we took our family holiday this year for two weeks. I cannot recommend enough! Kate took my 2 bonded pair and my single bun who have been living side by side for months. I was too scared to bond them myself and sought out the help of Kate. Within the matter of 7 days, Kate has made my dream come true and all 3 of my buns have come back closer than ever. No bad behaviour at all like they've been together all along. Kate would respond straight away to any messages I sent and is very knowledgeable and helpful. I am a very happy customer and if I ever need someone to look after my buns, I would definitely look to Kate 😊

My 2 guinea pigs are recently back from their first stay. We had a problem with our flights so I rang Kate to ask if she could keep the boys for 2 extra days. This wasn't a problem at all, it was so nice of her to rearrange her schedule to accommodate us. Don't know what we'd have done if Kate couldn't hold on to them for a few days extra. The only negative I have is I had to leave the boys and collect them on the driveway of the house. I would have felt better if I could have seen their set up.

My single rabbit stayed for 5 nights. I was worried but she has come home a very happy bunny!! I wanted her to see other rabbits which Sylvan accommodated. She's kept her weight on as when she stays away from home she usually looses weight. For me thats a sign she's had a happy stay 🙂. I will definitely use them again with peace of mind.

I have used Sylvan for the last 3 years to board our Rabbit Dennis and more recently our Hamster Freddie. Kate is amazing and looks after our pets so well that they come back like they've had a relaxing spa break! I was happy with how well my guinea pigs and gerbils were looked after. They settled quickly on the day they returned home, when it can sometimes take days for pets to settle after their boarding experience. This shows how they were content with their Sylvan Small Animal Pet Hotel experience. Lovely photos were taken of them when they stayed. I purchased them all at a very reasonable price. Our four guinea pig boars had a nine day holiday at the Sylvan Pet Hotel just last week. I cannot overemphasise how impressed we were with the whole experience. Kate was well organised in anticipation of their arrival, had great accommodation for them and made the whole experience easy and reassuring. Their stay was complicated by Hamish developing an infection which Kate spotted quickly and had assessed by the local vets, keeping us informed as she did so. We really felt that we (or the pigs) were given a first class service and I cannot recommend the Sylvan Hotel highly enough.

We have just collected our 2 bunnies, Theo and Georgia, after their second stay at the Sylvan Small Animal Pet Hotel. They stayed in their own Alpine Chalet with plenty of space to play, and we were able to keep up with them and their fellow guests as Kate posted some lovely pictures on facebook. The online booking process and the pick-up and drop-off arrangements were very professional, and we were able to enjoy our own holiday because we were totally confident that Theo and Georgia were happy, comfortable and being looked after with the same care we give them. We will certainly be booking them in again.

Would never go anywhere else, I have never left my bunnies before, unfortunately I lost two last year and since then I would never let me new bunnies leave my site, even having a camera in there shed. Filling out all the bunnies details eg vets etc when booking and agreeing to emergency care put my mind at ease. The bunnies seemed so comfortable and happy, they will be back when I'm on my next holiday!

From the first phone call to the collection of my rabbits, the service was perfect. Kate is very friendly and knowledgeable and my mind was put at rest knowing my rabbits would receive excellent care and attention when I was away. Regular photo updates were so good to see. Absolutely incredible would recommend 100% the guineas were well looked after and cared for. They had a fabulous clean cage and plenty of hay and veggies not to mention lots of love whilst on holiday at The Sylvan Small Animal Pet Hotel they were looked after by Kate as if they were her own piggies they look forward to their third holiday and plenty more for the future to come

This is the 1st time I have used Sylvan Pet Hotel and I wouldn't let my Green Cheek Conure stay anywhere else. Kate was very kind and showed us around the hotel prior to our parrots stay over, which instantly put me at ease. Everywhere is very clean and finished to a high standard. Kate puts photos and videos of your pet on her Facebook page (if you wish) so you can see that they have settled in. The location is easy to get to and so pretty, its like your pets are on holiday themselves! Thank you for taking care of Nova. We will be back!!!

Our 4 chickens spent 6 nights at pet hotel. The accomodation was fantastic. Kate really knew all about keeping hens. The chickens were well looked after and we were not worried about leaving them at all. We had to add an extra night for the chickens. This wasn't a problem to Kate she was able to accommodate this for us. We would highly recommend the Sylvan pet hotel and we shall certainly use them again.

I have boarded my two guinea pigs at the Sylvan small animal pet hotel. The accommodation is excellent in beautiful indoor hutches in a temperature controlled space. My piggies absolutely loved the hay and daily veggies that were included in the price. As agreed, photos of my pets were posted on Facebook during our holiday which my daughter really appreciated as she wanted to know how they were. Very straightforward to book, happy to allow viewings prior to booking and lovely to deal with. Highly recommended.

Kate was able to fit my bunny, Billy, in at very short notice and I am so pleased that she did. I was more than happy to leave him with her. He was given wonderfully large accommodation and was very well looked after. I have no hesitation in recommending Kate and Sylvan Pet Hotel.

The perfect holiday destination for your family pet! Its reassuring to know that while you are away your pet is getting more than just its basic requirements. As all pet lovers know, pets are a part of the family and it's not easy leaving them behind or finding somewhere you can trust to take care of them whilst you're away. When we first met Kate as she guided us around around the Sylvan Pet Hotel, we knew with her knowledge and amazing set up that our rabbits would be in safe hands! Even while we were away, with regular communication and updates from Kate, we knew our rabbits were having a stress free and pampered time. We could also tell that Kate was being attentive to our pets by how quickly she sussed out Bella & Timmy's personalities and needs. I have to say that Bella & Timmy were both glad to get back home to their Wibbety Mansion but Timmy, as much as he missed his Dad (favouritism I know...) would have enjoyed staying with Kate a bit longer! We highly recommend the Sylvan Pet Hotel because it's a safe and caring place for your pets to enjoy a break while you have yours.

This was the first time Cedric and Nev, our two lineolated parakeets, boarded with Kate at The Sylvan Small Animal Pet Hotel. Communication with Kate was excellent from the onset. We found her to be very friendly knowledgeable and caring. She looked after our birds im'peck'ably 🐦🐦😉well, regularly keeping us informed regarding their diet wellbeing and general mischievous behaviour 😆 While on our holiday we very much enjoyed viewing the posts on Facebook accompanied by Kate's humorous comments. Fantastic pet boarding service! Kate has recently looked after my two tortoises whilst I've been on holiday and the care provided to them has been superb. Kate at Sylvan Small Animal Pet Hotel has been a delight before, during and after our three rabbits, George, Grace and Hudson, stayed with her. Kate really knows her stuff when it comes to rabbits, and as we were away for more than a night, we decided our bunnies deserved a holiday rather than someone popping to the house to feed them. The set up Kate has for all small animals is incredible, she caters for both indoor and outdoor rabbits which we were very pleased about as our rabbits are indoor pets and that is very important to us. The price for 6 nights didn't break the bank by any means, payment and contracts were easy, and the care that our 3 babies had was incredible. The Facebook posts and photos of them have been a delight to see as we missed them as soon as they were gone! Drop of and pick up was simple and easy, and Kate was very understandable when it came to times of drop off and pick up. Our 3 furbabies have settled right back in at home and seem so happy after having their little holiday. We cannot thank Kate enough for the 5 star care that she took of them, so our little trio will be back soon for another break. I have never felt so at ease about someone else looking after our pets, and only being away for one night at a time before, I thought I would be worried sick but I was 100% sure that Kate would do an excellent job of keeping our high maintenance fur babies happy and she has certainly done that. Thank you so much Kate!

It was super easy to book our rabbit in; he stayed in a lovely big spotless hutch; enjoyed his tasty greens daily and definitely benefitted from the opportunity to run around in one of the outdoor runs.
