About our Rabbit Boarding

I am a lover of all animals,

But since covid I began adopting & rescuing hamtsers since 2020 and it gave me a real insight into proper hamstercare and we also adopted other small pets too,

I realised that alot about proper hamster care and how to add substrates and learnt so much on how to enhance your small pets needs.

I have over 30 years in handling animals as ive had cats, dogs, fish ,rabbits and GP's in my life and I love all animals.

We currently have 2 adopted rabbits, 2 senior cats who love life and are not anywhere near the lodgings room(My cats have no interest in our own bunnies & mouse) so please be assured your pets are kept safe at all times , we have our own little hamsters too and 1 little mouse named Hector.

This is what steered me to set up my own ethical small pet boarding and offer everything your little furbaby could need.

Also studying towards a professional Small Pet Management Care course soon to be completed.

Accommodation:

My pet boarders will be set up in the largest room in my house which is over 20 feet & we have set up minimum bucatstate cages 100x50x50 and ethical set ups for rabbits and guinea pigs.

Controlled heating, fan for hot days & we have a new dehumidifier which we will use to cleanse and cool the air if needed as well as access to classical music to calm your furbabies.

Locked door with camera to watch over your babies.

Exercise:

I will be offering bespoke pet boarding so this will allow me to give your pet ample attention and lots of free roaming.

Hamsers will get free roaming every day to run in a safe playpen set up with lots of interesting tunnels, chews, and hides and wheels galore to run on.

Gerbils/Mice access to free roaming too.

Rabbits/Guinea Pigs access to free roaming every few hours i will tend to them and let them under supervision free roam and have hides and tunnels to run around or snuggle areas to relax.

Health & Hygiene:

All rabbits must show latest vaccinations whilst confirming and updated on treatments.

All small pets will be kept in cleaned cages and areas are regularly cleaned and wiped down with animal safe sprays.

I have access to 2 great vets-1 local where my cat & rabbits are registered.

2nd is an exotic vets in Coatbridge who offer specialized exotic care advise.

I am very experienced in giving medicines to all pets.

I do require a £10 deposit to secure your booking which will be deducted off your final bill.

For small pet cage hire a one off payment of £10 for 1 week or £15 for 2 weeks - this will be for my time to set up the cage with deep bedding, substrates, hides, tunnels, water bottles and sprays all for your furbabies holiday retreat. All cages will be emptied and fully cleaned in between stays with safe disinfectant and fully washed down with hot water and safe soap.
