About our Home Boarding

Paws & Hearts is a licensed 4-star home boarder (Stoke-on-Trent Council), fully insured, DBS-checked, and trained in Level 2 Pet First Aid (VTQ). I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments, including anxious, elderly, and special-needs pets. I have excellent reviews and references too.
I provide personalised care, structured routines, and plenty of affection so every dog feels safe, calm, and at home.
I have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and small pets. My journey with animals started early and deepened when I cared for my beloved dog Sosonel, who had mobility issues and used a wheelchair. Supporting him daily taught me patience, empathy, and how to adapt care for pets with special needs, anxiety, or medical requirements.

Over the years, I have cared for puppies, bottle-fed newborn kittens and puppies, rehabilitated birds, and raised canaries from chicks, as well as caring for pigeons, ducks, quails, parrots, and other small animals. I am confident and calm with animals of all ages and temperaments, from energetic puppies to elderly, nervous, or medically complex pets.

My experience includes feeding, grooming, administering oral/topical medication, socialisation, and enrichment, ensuring pets feel safe, stimulated, and loved. I provide structured routines, gentle handling, and positive reinforcement to build trust and confidence.

I treat every pet as an individual and do my best to match their emotional and physical needs, so they feel comfortable, secure, and understood while in my care.

Accommodation:

Dogs stay in a clean, secure, and dog-friendly home environment with access to my living areas, supervised garden time, and comfortable sleeping spaces.
My garden is fully enclosed with CCTV camera’s and safe for off-lead play and toilet breaks.
Dogs are never kept in kennels — pets live as part of the family and are supervised at all times.

Exercise:

Dogs enjoys a minimum of 2 walks daily tailored to their age, breed, and energy levels.
I use quiet, safe routes in my local area and avoid crowded or stressful places.
After walks, paws are wiped and dogs are settled comfortably.
Extra play, enrichment, and toilet breaks are provided throughout the day.

Health & Hygiene:

I follow strict hygiene standards and clean routines to keep pets healthy and comfortable.
Food and water bowls are washed daily, sleeping areas are kept clean, and waste is managed safely.
I can administer oral and topical medication if required.
I maintain vaccination records and do not accept dogs with contagious illness.

Home Boarding Prices

Prices vary based on size, temperament, care needs, and season.
From:
• Standard dog boarding: £35-£45 per night
• Puppies / large breeds: £45+ per night
• Holiday rates may apply
Includes walks, feeding, enrichment, updates, and full supervision.
A deposit is required to secure bookings.
For dog walking services the price is starting from £15 depending on the location, dog size and duration of the walk.
Depends on the location, I can collect and return for free or small fee.

Other Services

I provide dog boarding, doggy day care, home visits, and dog walking, alongside basic grooming support, with a collect & return service available within local areas for added convenience.
