About our Home Boarding

We are a recently retired couple and big dog lovers.We were looking for something to keep us busy in retirement and we decided as we love dogs, boarding them and treating them as our own, would be the perfect job.It has turned out to be the best thing we ve ever done, looking after lots of different breeds of dogs. We are fussy which dogs we board, only friendly dogs accepted.into our home.We have been open since April 25 and have built up a very good reputation and have a lot of returning customers. Meet and greet must be arranged prior to boarding to familiarise us with your pet and get to know them and their habits, this is free of charge.We are fully licenced and have public liability insurance.

Accommodation:

Our home is a warm welcoming house, dogs can go anywhere and nowhere is off limits. We have a very secure garden with a high fence and locked high gate. There is an artificial grass area and a patio which is accessible through French doors. We have a shaded area and a large parasol for shade in the warmer months. If your dog likes to sleep on the bed or on the floor in the bedroom, we will endeavour to do the same. We do not use cages, unless your dog is caged at night, and you will have to bring the cage with you. Boarders will never be left alone in the house, as one of us will be here.

Exercise:

Dogs are walked once a day for an hour on a private road which is nearby. Safety is a priority and all dogs are walked on long straps, unless we have your permission to walk them off lead.They are taken by car to this area and have their own seat belts.

Health & Hygiene:

We only take dogs that are up to date with their vaccinations and proof must be provided as per conditions of our licence. All surfaces are cleaned regularly with a vet approved disintfectant, as per rules of our licence.

Home Boarding Prices

Our overnight boarding price is £35 per night and £50 per night for 2 dogs from the same household. Daycare is £25 per day and is only done on a ad hoc basis.Reviews can be found on our Facebook page HillriseDoggyDaycareandHomeBoarding, and Google.
