About our Home Boarding

We have been in Weston working with dogs as k9interaction since 2008, prior to that I was a dog groomer from 2001 and I have been working one way or another in dog training since the early 1990s. Over the years we have run a dog rescue ( k9interventions ), rehomed and looked after many hundreds of dogs, run group dog training classes and much more, you can see our past best on facebook. either k9interaction or k9interventions

Accommodation:

We live on the edge of Weston village, no immediate neighbors and down a quiet private drive. As well as a secure garden that is enclosed with 6 foot fencing, we also have a training field where we can exercise your dogs on lead if you would prefer them not to be walked out on public areas. Each dog is different so we will make sure we can settle them in the most similar way to what they are accustomed when they are at home.

Exercise:

We can exercise your dog off lead here in our garden with or without other dogs. In addition to that we can take your dog for a walk around our village or play with them in our private training field. We also have agility equipment that we can train you dog to do whilst they are with us, there is an additional charge that can be discussed.

Health & Hygiene:

All dog need to be up to date with their vaccines, worming and flea treatments. Our vet is within 5 miles and has 24 hour care and we have an arrangement that they will see any home boarding dog if your own vet is not available or too far in an emergency. we will take older dogs and dogs on medication. We have an in depth booking system so that we have all information required to comply with our licence.

Home Boarding Prices

Daily rates 1 dog £35 and 2 dogs £50
Fees are charged on a daily rate which includes the day of arrival. Collection must be made prior to 10am on day of departure, after which a cost will occur. If a dog is collected after 10 am that day will show as day care, rates for non-member are 1 dog £20 and 2 dogs £35 All prices include VAT. Please get in touch if you have 3 or more dogs.

Other Services

Dog training can be added whilst your dog is staying with us, this is arranged on a dog by dog basis. Collection and drop off can be arranged. An introduction and then a trial sleep over will be arranged before any booking can be confirmed for new clients.
