About our Home Boarding

We might be new to this site, but we certainly not New to caring for dogs. We have experience of small dogs, large dogs and giant breeds. We are a family of four with two girls age 9 and 11 that have both grown up around dogs. Both me and my husband are at home so your dog will never be left alone other than the occasional school run.
We do Home board more than one dog at a time so we asked that your dog is good with other dogs, however if something were to change whilst you are away, we have the space and facilities to keep dogs separated. Should you have a dog that is not good with other dogs, we may be in a position still to consider this dog so just drop us a message.

Accommodation:

We’re really lucky to have a large Secure back garden, which is grateful dogs to play and sniff about. We have four large reception rooms downstairs so if your dog needs some quiet time with one of us in a separate room that’s absolutely fine.
We like your dog to be part of the family so if your dog is allowed on the sofa at home, then he or she is allowed on our sofas too. We’re a very close loving family that love to spend time with the dogs lots of cuddles lots of playtime lots of enrichment.

Exercise:

Typical routine is to get up with the dogs around 7 am and have family time between seven and nine playing in the garden having breakfast between nine and 11 the dogs get taken for a nice walk then Home for a chill. After lunch, they have time to play in the garden and enjoy sniffing about. We do an evening walk between 5 pm and 7 pm and then we snuggle down on the sofas together. And relax the dogs down for about 10pm and then bed.
We are happy to tailor an exercise routine suitable for your dog. We have experience of dogs that require a lot of stimulation and physical exercise but also those that are much more couch potato or elderly and might not wish to do long walks.

Health & Hygiene:

Health and hygiene is really important to us and you are more than welcome to visit our house before making a decision so that you can see how seriously we take health and hygiene. We ask to see that your dog has been appropriately vaccinated. We wash the dogs bedding in between each new guest, but you were also more than welcome to bring your dogs’s own bed and we find that the dog do tend to like having their own Home comfort brought with them. We can also accommodate crates for those dogs that are crate trained. If you have a giant breed dog that is also crate trained we can accommodate that also.

Home Boarding Prices

We charge £40 per night per dog. We ask that you supply your dog with their usual food and any medication they may be taking. There is no additional charge for oral or skin medication.
Any additional dogs are charged at £25 per dog again we are happy to discuss this with you.
We also provide daycare for your dogs which is charged at £25 per day. The routine for day care is the same as a boarding dog.

Other Services

We request to meet you and your dog before agreeing any Home boarding. This is to give you peace of mind about where your dog will be staying and how your dog will be cared for and gives us an opportunity to meet them. Get to know them and ensure that we are able to provide them with the best possible care.

We have significant experience with giant breed of dogs and we know that these can be a hard breeds to find home care for. I lost dog was a Saint Bernard, so we are well and truly used to the dirt slobber hair and everything else that comes with a giant breed.
