About our Home Boarding

Hi, I am Amy, I have worked for the best part of twenty years in the specialist education industry, training as a teacher and later working in marketing for student recruitment. With two dogs of my own and two children, I understand how hectic life can be, trying to balance the needs of everyone. Sometimes, inevitably you just need the support of others to fulfil the exercise, welfare and care requirements of your pets. Today, more and more pet owners employ a professional pet care service provider - this is where All Paws can help.

I can’t help but treat any animals as my own. And, when I leave my own dogs entrusted with others, this is what I want for them - a home from home approach. I can appreciate that your pets are part of the family, and what a responsibility it is to leave them in someone else's care. Pets and their owners of Oswestry and surrounding areas can expect the same in return - they will become part of my family.

All Paws is fully licensed and insured. I have an enhanced DBS check, training in canine first aid and I am studying a level three diploma in canine care, behaviour and welfare. All supporting staff also have DBS checks too.

When your dog(s) stay with our family; they join myself; Amy, my husband; Andy, our dog crazy daughters; Lilah (age 7) and Millie (age 4) and our resident dogs Marley (age 12) and Daisy (age 9).
At our home in Oswestry we are licensed to have up to three visiting dogs to stay with us. We are careful to ensure a decent level of familiarisation has taken place in advance of each dog's stay, allowing them to get to know our family, our dogs and our home. We also give careful consideration to the combination of other dogs who may be visiting.
We aim to replicate ourselves as a home from home stay for each dog, getting to know their likes, dislikes and comforts. No kennels are used - all dogs have full run indoors and out in our secure garden.

Dogs will have at least two walks per full day in local countryside and parkland. We often have days out to the seaside, National Trust and other dog friendly venues.
Your dog(s) can also enjoy plenty of stimulation through play.
Rest time and cuddles will also naturally be factored into each dog's stay.

Health & Hygiene:

As per licensing regulations, all dogs are required to have up-to-date vaccinations and a kennel cough vaccination to cover them for the period of stay.
All dogs must be treated for internal and external parasites too; fleas, worms and ticks.
Furthermore, it is preferred that all dogs have been neutered / spayed to join All Paws for home boarding and day care.

Home Boarding Prices

Home Boarding for two or more nights is £24 for 24 hours per dog and £30 for one night only. Day care is £20 for a full day, or £15 for a half day.

We aim to shape the care that we provide around you and your dog(s) - so please do contact to discuss further your requirements.

Other Services

All Paws offers dog home boarding, dog day care, dog walking, call in care for dogs, cats and other small animals, and in addition, a pet taxi service.

We look forward to caring for your pets.

I was very happy with Macy's recent stay with Amy. Lots of photos and messages put my mind at ease, and reassured me she was having fun and settled. I can definitely recommend All Paws, and will contact Amy whenever I go away again x

Boarders Response:Thank you for the review Helen. As you know, Macy enjoys joining in on a bedtime story with the kids. She loves a snuggle and we've got them a plenty here. I'm pleased that you feel at ease whilst Macy is with us too. Many thanks, Amy

Amy has looked after our dog Ozzy numerous times, overnight stays and providing daycare. Amy is very flexible and will help anyway she can to accommodate yours & your animals needs. We were very nervous to begin with as Ozzy was only just over 12 months old and very mischievous! Amy provides updates throughout the time Ozzy is in her care with pictures (which I love to see) and messages to let me know he is settled, eating and drinking fine. Ozzy loves going to Amy's and we are reassured he is well looked after, we wouldn't send him anywhere else!

Boarders Response:Very many thanks Karen - looking forward to having Ozzy stay again soon! We do love a dog with character. We're glad that Ozzy has accepted us and is as happy as he is in our company. Glad too that you have been reassured on each of Ozzy's stays. Thank you for allowing your boy to be a part of family :-)
