Welcome! I’m Kim!

I love rabbits and have have had them my whole life. I have 8 of my own at the moment. I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals! I help out at a local rabbit rescue and I am passionate about animal welfare.

I set up my small business 3 years ago, following RWAF care guidelines. Lots of rabbits have enjoyed their holidays already! I have a highlight called ‘be our guest’ on Instagram! I am fully insured. I treat all guests as my own and go out of my way to ensure a calm and peaceful stay for all boarders. I’m not a huge facility so book well in advance! Being a smaller set up ensures lots of time to spoil the guests with attention and care!

I also offer pet ‘pop ins’ for local customers who would like a rabbit savvy pet sitter to pop by every day. Often my customers choose this option for a weekend away, and fully board for a longer trip away, but it’s up to you!

Accommodation:

We have two units currently with a third arriving in June 2025 (and possibly units four, five and six in the pipeline!)
They are located in a quiet, shady part of our family garden.

Bluebell Cottage
Playhouse with large run attached 24/7. 64sq ft.

Sweetpea Cottage
Summer house with large run attached 24/7. 88sq ft.

Exercise:

It’s important to me that all guests have access to a large area 24/7. Therefore all units have space to run and binky whenever the boarder chooses! The cottages are predator proof, I also have cameras on them 24/7 and am alerted to any movement around the boarding.

Health & Hygiene:

I take the cleaning very seriously. Each unit (and all accessories) is throughly cleaned with vet grade disinfectant after each guest. The disinfectant is ordered in specially and protects against EC spores, which most off the shelf cleaning items (supermarket/amazon) do not. I go over everything with white vinegar to eliminate any previous bunny smells (can cause unnessisary stress to the next guest).

All rabbits must be vaccinated at least three weeks prior to their stay and show no signs of snuffles (sneezing, running nose).

All rabbits living together in pairs or more must be neutered/spayed. I will take singles that are intact, however I must know about this beforehand.

Guinea Pig Boarding Prices

Bluebell Cottage - suitable for groups of up to 4 rabbits/guinea pigs.
£10 per day for 1-2 animals. Additional animals add £1 per day per animal.

Sweetpea Cottage - suitable for a larger group
£12.50 per day for 1-2 animals. Additional rabbits add £1 per day per rabbit.

Minimum 4 day stay.
14 day or more ‘long stay discount’ available.
Monthly rate also offered, which makes stays considerably cheaper.
Day of drop off and pick up charged as units cannot be rented out to others during this time.

Owner to provide the animals’ usual pellets.
All bedding is provided by us (straw, bedding hay & towels).
All greens/forage & hay provided by us (although welcome to bring own)
Owners welcome to bring own toys to help with the daily enrichment.

50% deposit required to secure dates.
Full payment required prior to drop off.

Other Services

Services: GroomingClaw Clipping

Grooming and nail clip - £10 per animal if staying.
I only offer grooming to animals who are on holiday.

Transport - I can collect and drop off animals.
£10 per way in Weymouth.
£20 per way in Dorchester/Portland or similar.

Reviews from Our Guests

We left our bunnies Stormy and Perry with Kim and they had a fantastic time! They had a whole shed for themselves, so plenty of room to run around and explore. They were given excellent care and Kim gave us daily updates on how the buns were getting on. They'll definitely be staying here next time we are away. Thank you! 😊
