Hi everyone! My name is Sarah.

As a passionate chicken lover and flock owner myself (meet my hens: Georgie, Franny, and Mo!), I know firsthand how stressful it can be to find someone you truly trust to care for your girls while you're away on holiday; relying on favours and neighbours is daunting.

That is why I created The Cheshire Coop Luxury Chicken Boarding right here in the heart of Frodsham.

My goal was simple: to build a boutique, family-run retreat focused entirely on high-end luxury, rigorous biosecurity, and deeply attentive care. To us, hens aren't just livestock for a farm—they are part of the family.

Top of the range Omlet Cube with extended run, Omlet Go Up with extended run. Both with all weather covers for your girls to stretch their legs come wind or shine!

Health & Hygiene:

Five-Star Hygiene & Cleaning
Deep Sanitation Protocols: Prior to every arrival, our easily dismantled Omlet coops undergo a rigorous, multi-step deep clean and disinfection using poultry-safe sanitisers.

Complimentary Health Check & Louse Dusting: On arrival, we offer a free health check and dust your hens with louse powder to keep them mite free.

Daily Housekeeping: Coop trays are refreshed daily with premium, dust-free bedding to ensure a pristine environment throughout their stay.

Spick-and-Span Maintenance: Feeders and drinkers are scrubbed daily to guarantee fresh, clean water and uncompromised food hygiene.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

£12 per night flat rate for a flock of 4 Hens
All Inclusive Luxury Chicken Boarding for up to a flock of 4 hens in our Omlet Go Up with a 1m extended run (minimum 3 nights stay required).

£15 per night flat rate for a flock of 5-6 Hens
All Inclusive Luxury Chicken Boarding for a 5-6 hen flock in our Omlet Cube with a 2m Extended Run (minimum 3 nights stay required).

£16 per night flat rate for a flock of 7-8 Hens
All Inclusive Luxury Chicken Boarding for a 7-8 hen flock in our Omlet Cube with a 3m Extended Run (minimum 3 nights stay required).

*Christmas & New Year period (23rd December 2026 - 2nd January 2027) will incur a surcharge of £40 per booking. If boarding overlaps on a bank holiday, a surcharge of £15 per booking applies.

Chauffeur Service
The ultimate convenient door-to-door service for your flock. We will personally collect your flock from your garden and safely return them back to their home coop in our travel boxes.

*Christmas and New Year period (23rd December 2026 - 2nd January 2027) will incur a surcharge of £20 for the drop off/collection service. Bank holidays will occur a surcharge of £10.

Complimentary Heath Check & Louse Powder on arrival Free
Every hen receives a complimentary health assessment upon arrival and an anti parasite powder dusting to keep them mite free for the duration of their stay.

£5 Precision Wing Clipping
Keep your adventurous girls safe and securely within their home boundaries. Our gentle, stress-free wing-clipping service gently trims the primary flight feathers on one wing using our specialist poultry scissors to prevent escaping, without causing any discomfort.

£5 per hen 7 Day Flubenvet Worming Course
During your hen's stay, receive a full 7 day Flubenvet worming course with with correctly medicated feed and daily health observations. If the stay with us is shorter than 7 days, remaining treatment will be given for you to take home.

£5 per flock Tonic Boost
Give your girls a health boost with a 5 day course of Premium Apple Cider Vinegar Supplement. This natural tonic lowers the pH in their gut, boosting their immune system against travel stress and discourages internal parasites.
