About our Small Pet Boarding

My name is Beth, I opened Tiny Tails in Aug 2026. I have 15+ years experience working within the animal industry, this includes boarding kennels and Cattery for 10 years then worked in a pet shop with Rabbits and Guinea Pigs for 4+ years. I completed a level 3 BTEC Animal Management course. I have owned dogs, hamsters, budgies, ferrets and gerbils.

Accommodation:

Rabbits -
150cm x 80cm built in run to stay in. Which has a sheltered bed, litter tray, hides and tunnels and a few gnawing toys.

Guinea Pigs -
120cm x 60cm indoor cage. Includes a sheltered bed, hides and tunnels and a few gnawing toys.

We also provide substrate, bedding, Hay, bowls, bottles ans fresh veggies.
You will need to bring own dry food and we encourage you to bring in extra toys and treats from home.

Exercise:

Temporarily we have indoor play pens for the animals to exercise in.

We will be building a large outdoor area with tunnels and platforms for them to play in but we are still in the process of sorting the outside area.

Health & Hygiene:

We require to see your pets vaccination card. They must be fully vaccinated to board with us.

We use animal safe disinfectant to clean out all the enclosures. The bowls and bottles get soaked throughout their stay but especially in between customers to prevent any spread of germs.
Hay and Bedding is changed daily, in the hotter weather especially it is checked throughout the day to make sure they are not laying in dirty bedding. (This is to reduce things like fly strike)

I am happy to administer any medication needed, just ensure I have clear instructions on when and how it needs to be done.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

Rabbits-
1 Rabbit = £10 a day
2 Rabbits =£16 a day

Guinea Pigs -
1 Guinea Pig = £8 a day
2 Guinea Pigs =£12 a day

Other Services

Services: GroomingClaw Clipping

I perform basic grooming, such as daily brushing and bum cleaning daily anyway when I health check. However if you require a nail clip that comes at an extra cost of £5.
