About our Small Pet Boarding

I'm Emily. I am the owner of this wonderful small business. I have a Bachelors Degree in Zoo Biology, a level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, a clean DBS check, Pet First Aid certificate and a Dog walking certificate. I spent a year working in a zoo on the Reptiles and Amphibian section, working closely with poisonous and venomous species. I started this business in June 2022. I also spent 3 weeks in South Africa volunteering my time with two local communities and the animals (and have a certificate to prove so).

I recently lost my beloved dog who came from a rescue, she had reactivity and anxiety. She taught me so much and I have gained so much valuable knowledge along the way.

Accommodation:

Our set-ups are fully weatherproof and predator-proof, so your furry friends will always be safe, secure, and comfortable during their stay. We provide timothy hay, fresh straw, forage, toys, daily brushing, clean bedding, spacious and suitable accommodation, and of course — lots of love and attention.

If your guinea pigs have any favourite treats, hay, or toys that help them feel more at home, you’re more than welcome to bring them along, although I’m sure they’ll love everything we provide too! The only thing I ask owners to supply is their usual pellets to help keep their diet consistent.

We currently have four accommodation options available:
• A 120cm x 60cm cage suitable for up to 2 guinea pigs
• A spacious 5ft x 5ft shed set-up suitable for piggies or rabbits
• Two large 6ft x 6ft indoor pens suitable for piggies or rabbits

Every guest is treated like part of the family and cared for as if they were my own.

We have Air-con and Heaters available depending on the time of year and weather.

PLEASE NOTE, FOR ALL BOARDING BOOKINGS, THAT FROM THE DAY YOU REQUEST A BOOKING, ALL FORMS AND THEN A 50% RETAINER MUST BE SENT OVER WITHIN 3 DAYS. THE RETAINER IS NON REFUNDABLE. IF A THE FORMS AND RETAINER IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN 3 DAYS, THE DATES ARE OPEN FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO RESERVE.

Health & Hygiene:

We also have strict biosecurity measures in place to help protect against serious diseases such as VHD (Viral Haemorrhagic Disease) and Myxomatosis. These diseases can be carried into an environment on clothing, footwear, and other items. While vaccination provides important protection, it is not 100% effective, so we take additional precautions to minimise risk.

To maintain the highest standards of safety and hygiene, only the two permanent residents of the household enter and leave the boarding areas. This controlled approach helps us protect the health of every animal in our care and allows us to continue operating safely.

For those who would like to see our facilities before booking, we offer video calls for £10. This helps ensure that appointments are reserved for genuine enquiries while giving you the opportunity to view the accommodation, ask questions, and discuss your pet's individual needs. The fee covers our time and helps us continue providing a high standard of care to all animals staying with us.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

Rabbits and Guineapigs:
1-2 sharing the same pen - £12 per day
£2 extra for each additional pets sharing the same enclosure.

Hamsters:
£10 per cage, per day

Mice and Gerbils:
£11 per cage, per day

GUINEA PIG GROOMING (PER PET)
