About our Small Pet Boarding

I'm Allie and I have previously trained as a Auxhillary Veterinary Nurse. I have changed career paths totally over the years as I’m also a qualified preschool practitioner!!! I am now focused on being a mum!!!! We run our own Building & Maintenance business as well as (with the help of our 2 children )our small animal boarding business where we provide your much loved pets with a very special holiday!! We promise to care of your family members as best as we can and will provide them with much love, warmth and attention while you are away. Our hotel has its own entrance which is clearly signed from the outside, please see photos!!
We run a separate day care facility, a full grooming service which can get very busy which is fun. We also bake our own Blossom tree cookies, which are suitable for all small animals, made from our homegrown herbs. Please ask for details for prices and options, and our Easter and Christmas pop up shop.

Accommodation:

We are really proud of our “Boarding hotel”. Our hotel, is adjoined to our home, and is fully heated, ventilated and you wont find any chicken wire or hutches anywhere!
We have a range of enclosures, beautifully built with clear fronts and windows. All are safe and secure and light and airy. Our holiday homes range from large, medium and small. We have separate Syrian hamsters, rat, and chinchilla homes to stay in, but if you would prefer to bring their own that's absolutely fine too.
Our accommodation for bearded dragons and geckos are fully enclosed enclosures. We provide heating, UV and heat, along with plenty of hideouts and a sunbathing spot!

Exercise:

We are very lucky to be able to offer a purpose built out door area, with artificial grass and secured with a enclosure. There we grow our own herbs, all ready to be made into edible treats which we bake ourselves for everyone. These can be purchased separately. Please ask for details. Outside we have grassy tunnels, see-saws and more for your VIPs to explore.

Health & Hygiene:

All holiday homes are steam cleaned regularly after each guest has left us, and daily in the summer months. Our enclosures are cleaned out thoroughly using a pet safe detergent spray. We lay fresh newspaper followed by sawdust then Timothy hay. Our outside area is hosed down daily. We keep all our guests separated from each other to avoid any risk of infection or ill health. All our holiday guests have equal time shared and we really take pride in being able to share our love of animals. Should we have any concerns about your small friends health during their stay with us, we will contact your as soon as we can; and or contact your emergency contact.

Please ask for details on multiple gerbils or rats, hamsters etc as I will always try to offer you the best price.
We also offer “Little boarders”day care service for your small animal, which includes drop off in the morning, and collect in the afternoon, we provide lunch and tea and fun activities!! Your small friend will have the opportunity to play in our ball pit, laze in our beautiful garden, or just have endless cuddles all day while your at work, out for the day, or just feel that your 4 legged friends would like a fun day out!! For one day only we charge £12.00. For 5 days please contact me and we can discuss further.
We accept payment In full please 5 days prior to your booking either cash or BACS please.

For our guests staying with us we offer a daily check of your pets coat. Our popular full grooming service offers our pre booked drop in guests a warm chamomile bath, and then completely spoilt with a warm towel and full dry, followed by a full body hair trim. ( complete with endless supplies of fresh greens to snack on and hay)We also offer our nail clipping only service separately, again pre booked appointments. We have a separate purpose area for our grooming service within our boarding hotel.
We also offer little boarder day care, where you leave your 4 legged friend with us for the day and we provide lunch, tea and a day of fun activities!! Please ask for further details! For our guests staying with us for their holidays, and are in need of any medication, we are more then happy to administer.
We provide all fresh greens twice a day for our guests, as well as all bedding, which is changed twice daily in the summer and supply endless amounts of fresh hay. We kindly ask that your bunnies are fully up to date with their vaccinations of Myxo and RHD1 and RHD2. (Their is a 2 week window for these) We kindly ask for you to provide their vaccine books on the day of arrival or pre sent via email, so I can take down some information for my records. Sadly without this, we are unable to allow your bunnies to stay with us, as is for the safety of not only your own bunny but for the safety of our other guests. We ask that you provide their own dried food due to small animals having a sensitive gut. Please inform us of any specific foods that irritate their tummy also and we will avoid these. Like wise if their is a favourite food they like, let us know and we can make sure we have a supply in ready for their stay.
We will keep in touch with you while your away on your holidays if you would like, by sending photos and a run down on how they are!!

When you arrive at Blossom Tree, there will
be some short forms which you would be required to fill out please which are general information about yourselves, emergency contact etc, and your pet, and data protection info.
For all arrivals and collections we have a separate rear entrance to Blossom tree. We run on time slots for arrivals and departures.
Our policy for any late arrivals and departures are:
If we fail to hear from you within the hour of your collection time or arrival we have the right to cancel your booking and or re- schedule arrival or pick up day, and their will be an additional fee to pay. We completely understand that delays can happen with travel, but please keep us informed at the earliest please.
