Honeybun cottage small animal boarding

Our two guinea pig boars spent 8 days with Jane and Rob at the end of July 2026. We all received a really warm welcome on arrival after friendly and helpful communications leading to the booking. The cottage is in a beautiful countryside setting and easy to get to from Axminster. The indoor accommodation for the piggies was airy, cool, spacious and clean. The outdoor areas were lovely and thoughtfully set out. Jane and Rob were kind enough to drop our boys back home which was brilliant as I had to work that day. Would heartily recommend and will be sending our much loved Nutkin and Sooty for a luxury holiday there again.

Our pair of guinea pigs had such a good time that they were a bit grumpy about going home! The set up is lovely and clean. The runs are a good size and they had regular outdoor time (weather permitting). Jane and Rob are committed small animal carers and were great about keeping Sunny's dietary issues in check - she came home fully healthy. Their own pet buns are clearly healthy, happy and comfortable, viewable as you drop your own pets off. We will certainly be using Honeybuns again. (Date of boarding: 24-30th July 2026)
