About our Small Pet Boarding

Cosy wheeks is a small, family run business. I started pet boarding services after finding it difficult to find boarding for my own pets in the Chesterfield Area. I have years of experience with Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Hamsters and Birds and I care for my guests as if they are my own!

Accommodation:

Your pet will stay in our Purpose Built, North facing Garden Room, which is cool in the Summer Months, due to the extra insulation and Warm in Winter, as it is heated to 15 degrees for your pets comfort.

Exercise:

We have various Outdoor areas, which your pet can enjoy. These include lots of play tunnel activities and plenty of hiding places which your pet will love!

Health & Hygiene:

Each Hutch is cleaned out and disinfected in between occupants (hutches are spot cleaned on a daily basis). A full clean is done twice a week; with bedding, fresh hay, vegetables and fresh water is provided. If a trip to the Vets becomes necessary, I would contact you to get your permission. This bill will need to be paid directly to the vets if possible and a copy of the receipt will be sent to you.

Single Guinea Pig £6 per day - Two Guinea Pigs sharing the same hutch will be charged at £8.50 per day.
Single Rabbit £6 per day - Two Rabbits sharing the same hutch will be charged at £10 per day.
Budgies/Small Birds - £4 per day in owners cage.
Parrots/Cockatiels - £6 per day in owners cage.

Other Services

Pets will be groomed a couple of times a week, before going back in their hutch (unless you state otherwise) This is all part of the service and at NO extra charge.
