About our Small Pet Boarding

I offer a safe and cosy environment for your pet when they are staying with me. I have a deep knowledge on animal husbandry and behaviour. I studied Animal Management and Science at college and worked in a veterinary practice for 3 years.

Accommodation:

I can accommodate most small animals. Whether it be in my family home or in the facility outside which will be temperature controlled. Animals such as gerbils, mice, and hamsters will have to come in their own cage. The enclosures for the larger animals have vinyl lining to for ease of cleaning. Your pet will not come into contact with other animals that are staying on the premises.

Exercise:

Rabbits and Guinea pigs will have access to fresh green grass in secure outside runs when the whether allows and even when its cold i offer a secure run inside so they will get exercise and environmental enrichment whatever the weather. For the small visitors they will be given environmental enrichment such as toys during their stay to keep them happy and occupied.

Health & Hygiene:

Each hutch or cage will be spot cleaned daily and thoroughly deep cleaned once a week. They will be thoroughly disinfected after each use along with any toys and houses. All feed will be kept in secure boxes and labelled according to who they belong to so they don't get mixed up.
Rabbits that stay must be vaccinated against myxomatosis and both strains of rabbit haemorrhagic disease 1 & 2 (RHD1 & RHD2). and have proof of this.

This is per night

1 Guinea pig is £4
2 Guinea pigs are £5

1 Rabbit is £5
2 Rabbits are £6.50

Gerbils, hamsters, mice are £3
Rats are £3.50 (must be in own cage)
