About our Small Pet Boarding

We respect that at Ashford Small Animal Boarding and want you to feel happy and relaxed knowing that your much-loved pets are cared for just like they are at home, leaving you to enjoy your holiday. We aim to give you complete peace of mind whilst you are apart.

A home from Home.
Accommodation:
Your pet will be housed in their own large wooden hutch in an air-conditioned shed-they will not mix with the other pets. There are only ten hutches in the boarding shed- eight very large – and 2 smaller ones that we would only use for single bunnies & Guinea pigs.
Apartment 1-3
These apartment are 140cm (5ft) long-70 (2ft6") deep-56cm (22") high- a floor space of 1650.
Apartment 4-6
These apartment are 168cm (6ft) long-70 (2ft6") deep-56cm (22") high- a floor space of 2100.
Apartment 7 & 8 are 110cm (4ft) long-70 (2ft6") deep-46cm (18") high- a floor space of 1440
Apartment 9 & 10 are 170cm (6ft) long-70 (2ft6") deep-46/56cm
Every hutch has fly screening over the wire doors, there are pull out plastic trays that can be thoroughly cleaned between guests. Each hutch has a large resting shelf, hayrack and internal water bottle holder.
Exercise:
Access to an outside runs is by request, we have a large garden with various sized runs. These can be on paving or grass- each run will have a house and tunnel to play in. With shades in the sunnier weather.
Health & Hygiene:
Every hutch/apartment is thoroughly cleaned in between guests using Virkon. Hutches are cleaned out every other day, litter trays emptied when needed.

Rabbits:
Single Boarder - £10.00 small cage or £12 large / Bonded pair Sharing - £12.00 Day/night.
Guinea Pigs:
Single Boarder - £10.00 / 2 bonded pair Sharing - £11/£12 - 3 bonded Friends Sharing - £13.00-day/night.
OFFER- NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR BANK HOLIDAYS. If booked 3 months early, or on fully payment received.
(No Drop off's or collection on Bank holidays, Sunday's by strict appointment only.)

Full groom out: £10 ( up to 45 minutes) including eye trim, bottom trim if required.
Pet collection or delivery of pets: 36P a mile & £12 an hour -round trip. Please ask for a quote.

Dee really knows her stuff. She looked after my bun for a week while I was away. I was nervous about leaving him somewhere new, but it was an unnecessary worry as Dee alleviated all those worries as soon as I met her and I knew he was in safe hands. When I dropped him off, she could tell what he'd enjoy, what was best for him in terms of nutrition and health, and, dare I say it, understood him better than I did. She sent me updates while I was away, and I could tell she loves every rabbit she looks after as if it were her own. I can't recommend her enough, and Dee will be my go-to rabbit sitter from now on.

Absolutely a home from home environment. The attention to detail when booking them in and the care they received was fantastic. Our Guinea pigs were thoroughly well looked after and we even received some photos of them via WhatsApp which the kids loved. Dee is very knowledgeable on small animals so my mind was put at rest leaving them with someone new. 10/10

I have 2 guinea Pigs who always go to Ashford Small Animal Boarding when we are away. They are so spoilt and well looked after. Communication is great throughout and pictures always sent whilst they are there. Have to get my dates in early to ensure they can go there as it is very popular. Would fully recommend.

Dee looked after my tortoise very well. A very caring lady ,made every effort to assist with Kobys needs. Ie housing and outdoor run. So he cauld get out in the sunshine. Even picking fresh produce from her garden. Which Koby loves. Koby was well looked after. In every way possible. He was a happy tortoise thanks to Dee and her husband for welcoming Koby to there home. I truly recommend. This lovely place that Dee has for all the small animals. Who will have a lovely stay. While owners do not have to worry about there little pets.

We are 10 minute's from junction 10 M20. 5 minute's from Ashford designer outlet.
Handy if you are using the ferry or channel tunnel. As pets can be dropped off on your way and collected on your way back. Out of hours by arrangement.
