At Little Squeaks Boarding we love animals and have over 35 years experience of caring for gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, budgies and more! From this we know exactly how worrying it can be to find the right care for your much-loved pets when you are away from home and understand that it can feel just 'too much' to ask a friend or relative to clean your pet's cage (but it needs doing)!

Accommodation:

We are pleased to welcome your little indoor pets to stay at Little Squeaks - housed in a safe and secure, fully heated, clean and modern boarding annex attached to the side of our home. We will provide cages for house guinea pigs (Ferplast 120 - 118cm long/58.5cm wide/51.5cm high) with time spent everyday in an indoor run with lots of enrichment activities. Hamsters and gerbils etc will be housed in their own cages on our heavy duty commercial standard shelving that can accommodate large cages. We have lots of room so any particular requirements (or for other small animals/birds) please just ask and we will see what we can do! We are fully insured and DBS checked.

Exercise:

Guinea pigs will exercise whatever the weather in our indoor run on a vinyl floor (we do not exercise on grass as it can't be disinfected between uses and the weather can prevent it for days on end!)

Health & Hygiene:

Little Squeaks has been purpose designed and fitted out in 2021. All fixtures, fittings and our scrub'able floor are fully cleaned between guests (using Vets grade, DEFRA approved disinfectant). We ask that our bird guests are kept indoors for at least two weeks before their visit to us. We are currently only boarding birds from the same household at any one time.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

House Guinea Pigs - £10 per day (bonded pair £12 per day)
Rats (in own cage) - from £10 per day
1 Hamster/Gerbil (in own cage) - £5 per day (additional charged @ £2 per day each)
Budgies - £5 per day (in own cage) (additional charged @ £2 per day each)
Parakeets - £10 per day (in own cage)
