About our Small Pet Boarding

We are a small pet hotel offering accommodation in our family home and we also offer a pet visiting service where we visit your pet in the comfort of your own home. We can also offer 1:1 dog walking straight from your home, so there are no stressful car journeys. I am small animal and canine first aid trained, fully insured and DBS checked for your peace of mind.

Accommodation:

We offer hutches and cages, both outdoor and indoor for rabbits and guinea pigs, indoor cages for rats, degus and chinchillas, and have ample room for hamsters, gerbils and mice brought in their own cage from home. We aim to treat every animal as one of our own, and tailor every stay to the needs of each pet, offering homemade boredom buster toys and in summer, fresh home grown fruit and vegetables.

Exercise:

We have a variety of runs available, both indoor and outdoor, for all sizes of pet from mouse to rabbit. Exercise on the lawn is weather dependent, but we can always offer exercise space and time indoors.

Health & Hygiene:

All accommodation is checked twice a day and any soiled material removed. We always monitor food and water intake, waste production and check bums daily for any signs of flystrike. If your pet is staying with us for longer than a week, its accommodation is cleaned out completely and fresh bedding provided. All accommodation is cleaned and disinfected between every stay.
We only accommodate healthy animals, unless the condition is long term, managed and non-contagious. We check all animals before they commence their stay for any signs of illness or injury.
We ask that all rabbits are vaccinated against myxomatosis, RVHD1 and RVHD2 at least three weeks before their stay, and we will need to see evidence of this prior to their stay.
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, we strictly adhere to the government guidelines regarding social distancing, hygiene and face masks. All visits to the pet hotel are by appointment only so that we can ensure that there is only one human customer on site at any one time.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

Solo rabbit in an indoor cage or outside hutch = £6 per day
Two rabbits sharing a double hutch indoors or outdoors = £7.50 per day
Solo guinea pig in an indoor cage or outdoor hutch =
£5 per day
Two guinea pigs sharing a single hutch = £6 per day + £1.00 extra per day per additional pet sharing accommodation.
Rats/Degus/Chinchillas in luxury indoor cage;
£5 per day + £0.50 extra per day per additional pet
sharing accommodation.
Hamsters/Gerbils/Mice in own cage from home;
£3.50 per day + 50p extra per day per additional pet sharing accommodation.
Home visits;
£8.00 once per day
£15.00 twice per day

Other Services

We offer a pet taxi service if you are unable to transport your pet to us and you live within a five mile radius of our home. This costs £5.00 for just collection or drop-off, or £10.00 for both.
