Birkin Boarders

Really excellent service! My bunnies were well looked after and I even had some wonderful picture updates. Birkin Boarders will be my go to now! Highly recommended.

Isobel looked after our two rabbits over our honeymoon, and can honestly say they couldn't be in better hands. When we picked them up they were very happy and looked after, plus the reinsurance Isobel gave whilst we were away was so reassuring! We've booked them in again for the bank holiday and for the summer, so our bunnies get as much as a holiday as we do!

My two teddy guinea pigs Toffee and Squeak spent 10 days at Birkin Boarders in October 2021 and I can wholeheartedly recommend Isobel and her dedicated care. They came home in excellent condition and I was kept informed with updates and photos during their stay. I will be booking them in again this year with full confidence in their care. Oreo & Cookie stayed with Isobel at ‘Birkin Boarders' a few weeks ago. Previous to me going away, I went to go and have a look at where they would be staying and to meet Isobel. She responded to all of my messages quickly and gave me all the information I asked for. Isobel has lovely environment for all of her little guests to stay inside and has made it look and feel really inviting and cosy. She also has outside space for them to explore (although it rained the whole time I was away so my 2 didn't get it experience that this time) but I've seen videos/photos on social media of other furry friends making the most of it! It was the 1st time they had both stayed with her and Isobel put my mind at ease that they would both be in safe hands as it came across that she has a real love and passion for what she does. She is extremely knowledgeable and rabbit savvy which made me feel confident that Oreo & Cookie were going to be well looked after. Oreo is prone to G I stasis (tummy problems) so before I went away, I explained this all to her and had to fill in a detailed form with everything written down with what to look out for in his behaviour etc. I had daily contact updates and photo's about how they were, it was so nice to see them both happy and relaxed it really did put my mind at ease. They are both booked in to go back in October again when we go away, it's so nice to know they will be in such great hands when I'm not here. Thank you Isobel everything you did 🐰🐰x

My two rabbits and guinea pig stayed at Birkin Boarders recently for a week. They were exceptionally well cared for and I would be happy to leave them with Isobel any time. The updates and photos I received were lovely. Isobel is very well organised and very knowledgeable about small animal care. The facilities are spacious and spotlessly clean. I was very confident to leave them, knowing that they were in very safe hands.

Isobel has been terrific! I left her my bunny for a month last December while I was abroad and she has been treated as a queen. She has been spoiled as if she was Isobel's bunny with pets and treats. Also, communications have been really smooth, Isobel has kindly provided updates, pics and video so I have felt sure my baby was in good hands. I would definitely recommend and will be back should the need arise!

Excellent service from Isobel, our 2 bunnies have stayed with Isobel on two different occasions and we cant fault the service we have received. Isobel is very caring, helpful and considerate, she sent my daughter a number of updates over the time of the bunnies stayed to say how the bunnies were doing. We also loved seeing their photos on social media as this shown how happy and well looked after they were. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday home for our bunnies. Definitely would recommend it to all small animal owners and will be using Isobel again in the future.

Judging by my guinea pigs' reactions (the two younger ones raced around the hutch in excited circles and Alaska, aged 8, settled down to munch hay!) they were all very pleased to be back in their lovely, big hutch at Birkin Boarders for their second visit this year. All the bunnies and piggies are clearly given the very best love and attention by Isobel. She gets to know all her guests so well and provides for all their individual needs. On top of all that, booking is both friendly and efficient. I would recommend Birkin Boarders without hesitation.

A very professionally run boarding service for small animals. All the facilities are first class and beautifully kept ... from the indoor hutches to the wind protected outdoor runs (they have special covers that Isobel uses if it's blowy) in the specifically secured garden. Isobel gives such great care and attention to her guests it clearly is a labour of love! Our 2 rabbits visited for 10 days and we loved the regular updates on Instagram. Birkin Boarders is the real deal! Thank you very much Isobel

I have never used boarders before so I was a little anxious but as soon as I made contact with Birkin Boarders I was instantly put at ease. My two guinea pigs are quite timid and scared of strangers so I am so happy that I chose someone who was completely understanding of that. Isobel was helpful and professional right from the start. I was able to see updates throughout the stay which put my mind at ease. When the boys returned they actually were a lot more confident so the extra attention and care obviously worked wonders for bringing them out of their shell. I will use Isobel again and would highly recommend her. Thank you so much! :)

My piggies spent a very well cared for week at Birkin Boarders. Their accommodation was huge and spotlessly clean, sheltered and would be warm in winter too. Isobel gave them lots of attention and cuddles and they were calm and happy when they came home. Very pleased to have found such a lovely 'home from home' for my girls for the next time we go away.

I had to leave my two guinea pigs at Birkin Boarders for few days and I could not be happier with the service provided. Guinea pigs were well looked after and received lots of attention. Definitely will be using Birkin Boarders in the future and would recommend to anyone who is looking to leave their pets in good hands :)

Isobel looked after our bunny Snowball when we went on holiday and it was like home to him. He was so relaxed and happy. I am so glad to have found Birkin Boarders and will definitely leave Snowball there whenever we go on holiday. Thank you so much Isobel!!!!

Really lovely stay for our rabbit. It was clear from the very start that Isobel shows nothing but love towards the rabbits and guinea pigs in her care. She treated him as one of her own which made us completely at ease leaving him. We will definitely be calling upon Birkin Boarders again when we go away. Ruaridh (aged 5) the ‘real' owner of George says: ‘George really loved it, thanks!'

I was so worried cause this was the first time ive been away from my two bunnies but birkinborders took such great care of my two!!! The constant pictures and updates were so appreciated and Isobel gave them the best care making them so comfortable 10/10!! Will definitely be boarding with them again!

5* Hotel for your little fur babies.. I just want to say a big thank you to Isobel for looking after my 2 guinea pigs Poppy & Daisy..excellent service from booking them in, to their dietary needs and accommodation.. the place is immaculate the cages spotless and outside the runs are large secure and an abundance of lush grass..my girls are booked in again for another short trip this year, and hopefully Isobel will have them next year for a 2 week stay in July..

We were so pleased with the care our bunnies Cookie and Marmite received with Isobel. Excellent communication throughout, and we could go and view the accommodation before we first booked them in. We follow Birkin Boarders on Instagram too and it gave us peace of mind seeing pictures of our bunnies having a lovely time whilst we were away. We loved it, felt very homely. Lovely accommodation and outside space to run around as well. Really happy. We have already booked them in for their next stay!
