About our Small Pet Boarding

Hi, my name is Cheryl. I have many years experience in animal care from the large to the small and this is my passion. I am extremely dedicated to the care and well being of small pets and have experience in caring for poorly ones, stroke victims included. If your pet is on medication I am happy to administer it for the duration of the treatment, please bring this with you. I am however, not able to accept any pets carrying a contagious condition.
I have my own guinea pigs who I love dearly and I am very fussy about where they go to board when I go away so I completely understand how it feels to find someone you can put your trust in, but be assured your little ones will be loved and cared for like my own.
You are very welcome to visit by appointment prior to your pets stay if you would like to.

Accommodation:

We have a large, bright and airy purpose built shed that is fully lined to keep the heat out in hot weather and retain warmth in cold weather. There is a door at each end of the building to provide a good air flow. These doors are covered in rodent proof mesh to prevent outside pests gaining access, they are also covered in a bug screen to eliminate flying insects. These doors are fully lockable and there are also lockable external doors. The opening windows are also rodent and bug proof. Fans and air conditioning are provided in hot weather, pets are also provided with bottles of frozen water to sit with, some enjoy licking them to help keep cool. Heaters are provided in cooler weather to keep our guests comfortable. We currently have 16 indoor hutches, of various sizes, 3 of these have runs attached. There are also 3 outside hutches plus 1 double Rabbit hutch with a run attach, these are located within a secure outbuilding and are used when the main hotel is fully booked, you will be advised at time of booking that this option is available.

Exercise:

We have fold away indoor runs for daily exercise and the garden is currently being renovated to accommodate outside runs. All guests will be cuddled every day if this is their usual routine, some don't enjoy too much attention so we work around each individuals needs.

Health & Hygiene:

All hutches are kept clean and tidy during your pets stay and are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between visitors. All food bowls and drinking bottles are also sterilized. If you are bringing a Rabbit to stay, we ask that it is up to date with vaccinations against Myxomatosis and Vhd. Please bring with you a certificate from your vet to verify this, we are unable to accept bunnies without this as we have the health and welfare of all our guests to consider. Please make sure that vaccinations do not expire during your Bunnies stay and that they have been vaccinated at least three weeks prior to their stay.
As previously mentioned, we are unable to board pets carrying any contagious conditions.

We accept payment by cash or cheque with Bankers Card upon collection of your pet.

We are open for drop off and collection from 9am to 11.30am daily and ask that you confirm your arrival time as we like to be able to spend time with you to discuss your pet and their requirements.

We are open for telephone enquires between 9am and 6pm Monday to Saturday.

Other Services

Please bring with you your pet's usual dry food and if they have a favourite toy, please feel free to bring this along to help them feel at home.We supply all their other needs in the form of fresh hay, straw, bedding material, food bowls, water bottles and lovely fresh veggies every day.
We are also fully insured.
