About our Small Pet Boarding
RabbitsGuinea PigsI am qualified in animal management. I am a full time dog groomer and previously worked as an animal handler in a pet shop. I have lots of experience with handling and caring for small animals. I also have two of my own rabbits so I realise how much of an impact they have on the family, any rabbit or guinea pig staying with peatling bunny retreat will be treated as if it was my own
Accommodation:
Your pet will be staying will in secure hutches in a luxury custom built shed, both the shed and hutches have been handmade to a practical size. There will also be runs available which can be placed in the garden for daily exercise- this will be monitored at all times! Accommodation is well lit and ventilated. There will be a constant supply of fresh food, water, hay, homegrown vegetables and attention.
We offer the burgess nuggets for both rabbits and guineas, however if your pet is fed something different at home I advise you bring some food with you as a change in food can affect their tummy’s!
Exercise:
Daily exercise will be offered providing owners are happy, and weather permitting! Exercise will be a minimum of 60 minutes a day. This will be monitored at all times.
Health & Hygiene:
Hutches will be spot cleaned at least once a day and a full clean out of all hutches will happen 2-3 times a week. Pets will be checked over daily for any health problems. Rabbits must be vaccinated against MYXOMATOSIS, RVHD1 AND RVHD2! Any undiseased pet that is receiving medication can still board and I am happy to assist in their treatment. Details of vets must be provided and vets must be made aware that your pet is boarding with me. Unvaccinated rabbits will be refused boarding!

£5 per day per single animal. Additional bonded guests can be added at an extra £1 per day

A 50% non refundable, non transferable booking fee is required in order to secure your space

I used Maisie for boarding of our 8 year old rabbit for two weeks in August, I was really nervous as she is normally looked after by a friend but our holidays clashed. I had no need to worry, I met Maisie and saw the set up before confirming and when I dropped her off she was happy as Larry. It was a great touch to see regular pictures and updates via the Facebook page as it really put my mind at rest. Would absolutely use Maisie next year when we have our holidays sorted

Our journey with Maisie started around 2022. Maisie provided a great service to us. My two dwarf rabbits were well looked after for many weeks. Whenever I needed her services, she was always trying her best to find some space for my babies. For drop off and pick up, always there ponctuel. She has never let us down. She gives them greens/carrots. Listen to their needs. Sadly, one bunny recently passed away and the other was rehomed so we can't use her anymore but nonetheless, I highly recommend Maisie and the Peatling Bunny retreat. Your our bunnies and guinea pigs will be well looked after! Missing you Maisie! Perhaps one day you'll have Coal! 😀 Thank Maisie for all you do!

I can't recommend this rabbit hotel enough! Maise really knows what she's doing when it comes to bunny care — she's clearly experienced, kind, and genuinely cares about each rabbit's wellbeing. My bunnies are always so well looked after, with plenty of space, comfort, and attention. I got regular updates, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It's lovely to find someone who understands rabbits properly — Maise treats them like her own. I' wouldn't use anyone else ! ðŸ°ðŸ'›

We regularly use Peatling Bunny Retreat for our rabbit when we go away. He settles in straight away and is always very happy when we pick him up. Maisie is very knowledgeable about rabbits and always make us feel at ease leaving ours with her. Would highly recommend for small pet boarding! 🥰

Maisie was brilliant, really pleased with the service provided! Was able to enjoy my holiday knowing my rabbit Nala was in safe hands. Was also lovely to see pictures throughout her stay too. I would recommend Peatling Bunny Retreat to everyone in the local area with a bunny or piggie! Will definitely be using the retreat in future.

Can't recommend Maisie enough. We have been a customer from early days and I think Charlie our Rabbit looks forward to us going away as he enjoys his stay at Peatling Bunny Retreat. Whereas with other boarders we have used in the past,you can tell Charlie has not been happy when we get him back. they don't offer the services loke Peatling,but you can tell he's fine when at Maisie's. The photos posted while away are a nice touch and reassuring. No Negatives, only positives.
