About our Small Pet Boarding
RabbitsGuinea PigsBirdsHamsters, Mice etc.At Belvedere Boarding your pet will be treated as if they are on holiday. We like to get to know your pets and will ask for details of their likes/preferences.
We only take in a few pets at a time so that your pet is guaranteed lots of love and attention.
All potential clients are encouraged to visit to 'check out' where their pet will be boarded at no obligation.
We have our own three rabbits and have owned rabbits since childhood. We do not have children, our current rabbits Dora & Dylan are our children!

Accommodation:
For rabbits we have five spacious outside hutches housed in our climate controlled summerhouse along with 3 houses for guinea pigs.
We now have two large hutches in our garage for rabbits. We do only board neutered rabbits.
Unfortunately we do not take rabbits or guinea pigs indoors.
For gerbils, chinchillas and hamsters, you will need to bring their cage along with their dry food and exercise ball if they use these. We only take in a maximum of two cages at a time of hamster, gerbils and chinchillas.
For tortoises please enquire about their needs.
Our hutches vary in sizes and your pets will be housed in appropriate housing. At quiet times we may upgrade your pets. No animal will ever be housed in a cage too small for their needs. Litter trays are cleaned out daily along with soiled bedding. All hutches are disinfected when cleaned both during stays and between bookings.
Exercise:
All pets are encouraged to exercise daily and where possible are in runs all day before being put to bed.
Health & Hygiene:
Rabbits must be vaccinated and the vaccination must be in date, and not due to expire until two weeks after their stay. A valid vaccination record card must be shown when you deliver your pet.
No animals are kept in the garden overnight.
Small Pet Boarding Prices
Charges - Please note that we charge a minimum of three nights
• Hamsters/Gerbils/Chinchillas £6.00 per night per cage
• Tortoise / Rabbit / Guinea Pig £9.50 per night in a single hutch
• 2 Rabbits/Guinea Pigs sharing a single hutch £13.50 per night
• 1 or 2 Rabbits occupying a double hutch £17.00 per night
• 3 Guinea Pigs sharing a single hutch £14.50 per night
• Indoor single hutch £14.50 per day – accommodates up to two rabbits. 1400mmx 600mm x 600mm approximately
Telephone /email bookings will only be held for 7 calendar days.
Booking will only be confirmed on receipt of a completed boarding contract and a deposit of £20.
Balance due on delivery of pet(s) to us.
PLEASE NOTE WE MAKE A MINIMUM CHARGE OF THREE NIGHTS FOR STAYS OF ONE OR TWO NIGHTS.
Please note that discounts are offered for multiple pet boarding. With the exception of our three nights minimum fee, you only pay for the days your pet requires boarding, if it is not convenient with us for your pet to be collected as agreed you will not be charged for the extra stay.
At Belvedere Boarding the price you pay includes fresh food for tortoises, rabbits and guinea pigs. Small birds will no doubt get special treats!

Services:GroomingClaw Clipping
Rabbits and Guinea Pigs are groomed for no extra charge, please bring their combs/brushes.
We will do claw clipping if requested.
We only use highly quality bedding, hay and treats.

Bernadine kindly boarded my two bunnies whilst I went away for a few days. The bunnies were very well looked after - exercised, even had their hair brushed (they are long hair rabbits) and were well fed and watered. Bernadine is a lovely lady who clearly loves animals.
