Sleepy Burrows

Jemma is so caring and a rabbit savvy nurse. My boys warmed to her relatively quickly (they are half wild so can be quite shy for a day or so). Accommodation was great and they settled in well. There are just a few other boarders with her so we knew the boys would get the attention they need, as well as some familiar sounds of other buns nibbling & playing in their own pens! Jemma kept me updated on them and sent photos. Will definitely be bringing my boys to her again when she's next available.

Jemma took excellent care of our two Teddy Guinea Pigs. Jemma immediately put us at ease with her professionalism and warmth. We had updates via social media worthy of a photoshoot and the Teddies were returned to us in impeccable health and happiness with a health check completed. They even smelt great. We would highly recommend Sleepy Burrows.

I highly recommend Jemma at Sleepy Burrows. I have 2 rabbits who not only settled well (after the stressful 30 mile trip), they looked relaxed and happy when I collected them. They received lots of attention in their holiday home and even had some travel crate training, which worked amazingly well. My bunny who has always hated the box, was alert and looking for a treat! Knowing they went to such amazing and special care, gave me all the reassurance I needed and I knew I didn't need to worry about them. I live in Kent, so although it's a fair journey, it was so very worth it. I cannot thank you enough.

No hesitation in returning bunny to Jemma/ Sleepy Burrows when he needed boarding recently. I knew how he'd settled in, and how he was doing every day. He again came home happy and bouncy!

Thank you for looking after my guineas Peaches and Popcorn. I was nervous to leave them for the first time and Popcorn only being a baby was hard. Jemma was lovely. reassured me that she would take good care of them, also text me on holiday with photo's that was great. It made me feel better as I missed them so much. Thank you so much for your care over the days. It looked like the guineas had a lovely time. I would absolutely bring them back to you next year.

Jemma was totally amazing! We were nervous when looking to give our pet mini lop Sandy into boarding but we found Sleepy Burrows. Jemma was always on hand to answer all our questions and provide all the information we needed which gave us peace of mind. Once Sandy was boarded Jemma was sure to update us on how Sandy was getting on, also sending some pictures during her stay to reassure us she was fine. Thank you Jemma : )

Couldn't make a pre-boarding visit to the facility due to Covid. A few exchanges with Jemma told me she knew her stuff and my baby would be safe and secure. Jemma sent daily updates and pictures which was really reassuring. Most of all bunny came back happy and healthy. Hope he can board there next time he needs a ‘hotel'.

2nd time used the Sleepy Burrows service and so glad as found someone trustworthy and who obviously spends time looking after and genuinely enjoying her ‘guests'. I'd recommend them wholeheartedly and it's worth spending a bit more on the pamper package as my piglet enjoys his time. Highly recommended.

Jemma provided an excellent standard of care for my two guinea pigs while I was away for a week. One of our piggies is on medication and Jemma's experience and knowledge was amazing. She provided us with regular updates and photos and it was a home from home for them. Jenny and Simone are looking forward to staying at Sleepy Burrows again soon!

Lovely setting for our guinea pigs. Jemma is a very friendly, capable lady, got good vibes that our pigs would have a great stay and would be well looked after, which they were. Jemma kept us updated on the welfare of our animals whilst we were on holiday. Great price too. Will definitely use again. Highly recommended.

My spur-thighed tortoise Starsky stayed at Sleepy-burrows for 9 days during September. He was very well looked after and I was able to see pictures of him on Facebook, from Lanzarote. Sleepy Burrows is a lovely place and I hope to be able to leave Starsky there again next year. Very well run, lovely lady - very professional. Many thanks!!

Our hamster Beachball had a great time, and it was a relief to know she was well looked after and had lots of cuddles! Thank you for putting the updates on Facebook - it was good to see she was settling in. Would definitely recommend Sleepy Burrows.

Boarded my 4 rabbits at Sleepy Burrows and would have no hesitation in booking them in for a holiday again! Jemma is a supporter of the Rabbit Welfare Association and their Hutch is Not Enough Campaign. Hence the facilities are excellent - lots of space and lovely boredom breaker toys and treats. Jemma obviously loves small animals and gives those in her care lots of attention. Was lovely to receive updates on the bunnies and reassuring they were being looked after by Jemma.

Our young guinea pigs Flash and Charlie have just stayed at Sleepy Burrows for three nights and were beautifully cared for by Jemma....in fact they look as though they have had a holiday themselves! So far we have used Sleepy burrows pet boarding once and so far everything went well. We don't leave our rabbits with nobody except them. With them we feel confident enough to leave him while we're out. Our rabbits is return clean and in good spirits. I will recommend them. Thanks.
