About our Small Pet Boarding

We board: RabbitsGuinea PigsBirdsHamsters, Mice etc.

We are Linda and Jim and we have been caring for animals for ourselves and other people for over thirty years, We have a life long interest in the welfare of rabbits and our members of the rabbit welfare association. We have several pets and appreciate how difficult it can be to find good trustworthy care for them whilst on holiday or away on business. Our aim is to provide your pets with care in a small friendly environment with lots of individual attention.

Accommodation:

We offer a range of two tier hutches, all with constant access to individual runs that are suitable for rabbits and guinea pigs.We can accommodate house rabbits and outdoor rabbits. All house rabbits have their own indoor runs with access to their own outdoor runs during the day if required .The building is insulated and heated during colder weather.Hamsters, mice and gerbils are usually accommodated in their own cages. Outdoor rabbits can be accommodated either in a cooler building or in large outdoor runs with two tier hutches.

Exercise:

Rabbits and guinea pigs have their own runs attached to their indoor accommodation so they can come and go as they please, toys and tunnels are provided for your pets. Animals from different homes will not share any cages, runs or be allowed to mix at any time.

Health & Hygiene:

All rabbits must be fully vaccinated and in good health otherwise we will refuse entry to our boarding facilities. If your pet has a long term medical condition we may be able to accommodate it, please ask.All cages and bowls are cleaned daily and cleaned and disinfected between each new boarder. During the summer months the cages are kept cool with fans and large mesh doors to protect against flying insects, but still allow plenty of air flow. During the winter months in cold weather heating is provided.
We will follow your pets normal feeding and exercising routine eliminating the additional stress of a changed routine. Your rabbit will be checked regularly for any signs of ill health or fly strike and prompt treatment sought if anything is wrong.

we had our two babies , Aliyah and Toby stay for the first time away from home and we felt so lucky to have chosen Bunny Boarders. My babies felt at home and that in itself is testament

For the last four years our two bunnies have been regular lodgers at Linda's Bunny Boarders. Since our bunnies have been babies Linda has always taken great care with them and they always return to us happy and settled. Linda makes their home so welcoming and accommodating. They always have something to play with, whether it be a tunnel to run through or being outdoors on a bench in the sun! She keeps them interested with lots of tasty treats alongside hay, water and the pellets they are used to. Linda's care and knowledge of our bunnies is second to none and was especially needed when they stayed with her this year. One of our rabbits had been recovering from being very poorly and Linda's experience with our newly re-bonded bunnies and of poorly rabbits was so reassuring when we needed her to look after them. As always, both bunnies came back to us fit and well and happy to see us. We could not recommend a better carer to look after your pet for you while you are away.

My two bunnies have just had the most wonderful stay at Bunny Boarders. They were so well looked after and the boarding facilities were so clean and tidy. Linda and her husband are true professionals in their job and I will most definitely be using them again and would highly recommend.

Linda has been looking after my Skinny Pigs for over a year now, when I'm away. She and her husband are the friendliest and kindest people and I feel absolutely at ease leaving them with them. They go above and beyond what is expected of them. Thank you x

I have been taking my Guinea Pigs, Star and Tigerlily, to Linda for about 3 years and I can honestly say I have not once worried about them whilst being away. Linda's set-up is amazing. Purpose built sheds with individual spacious pens which include lots of hideouts, tunnels and things to keep them entertained. When I drop off and collect the Guinea Pigs, I'm always so impressed with how clean the sheds are. Linda is also extremely knowledgeable about small furries and I often pick her brains for advice. I would thoroughly recommend Bunny Boarders!

My guinea pigs Heidi and Hildi have just come home from another stay with Linda. They are so well cared for, I never worry about them. The accommodation is large; full of tunnels, hiding houses and straw to hide in. Linda keeps it all impeccable clean and tidy. This time they stayed in a hutch, with acces to a carpeted pen, inside a purpose build shed which was great as it was cold for early May. Last summer, they stayed outside in a hutch, with access to grass and tunnels. Not to mention that the price is the best around. Thanks!

Thank you Linda for looking after Dandelion and Genie! You did a fab job looking after Dandelion considering he had two broken claws! Lovely pens and runs with plenty room and toys to occupy there days! Went out of your way to supply Dandelion a flat surface for healing purposes, such a shame they were not able to use the boxes and tunnels! Next time!

Linda is marvellous. I was so worried about leaving Rose our indoor bunny. We went to see Linda and the accommodation and WOW such a wonderful, clean and bunny heaven! I would thoroughly recommend 4*, a gold Blue Peter Badge and a huge THANK YOU xxx

Linda and family recently looked after our 5 hooligan chickens for a week and we couldn't recommend her highly enough. We were fortunate that they were able to take on our hens at quite short notice and were extremely accommodating in terms of drop off/pick up time. Communication was excellent throughout the booking process. We were very impressed with their accommodation, which was spacious, clean, and most importantly, totally fox proof! Linda obviously went above and beyond to keep our girls happy and healthy, with loads of enrichment in the run and lots of lovely treats for them too. We are so grateful to have found Bunny Boarders as our hens were obviously in very safe hands - would definitely use again.

We have just used Linda and Bunny Boarders for our French Lop Lionel who is only 4 months old. What an amazing place! Nestled away in Ely and an absolute find. The rabbits are beautifully cared for and looked after. Each hutch is joined to a good size run and set in lovely long grass. Lionel has been looked after very well and Linda was lovely, emailing me every couple of days with an update. We will definitely use again- thank you.

I cannot recommend Bunny Boarders enough. We left our very hyperactive and mischievous hamster with Linda for 3 and a half weeks. From the moment we dropped her off, we knew that she was going to be well looked after and cared for whilst we were away and she certainly was! Our hamster got lots of love and attention and plenty of space to run around and burn off some of her energy. The facility Linda has is wonderful for any small animal, clean and well maintained. Would not hesitate to recommend Bunny Boarders and will continue to use for a long time.

Bunny Boarders is a lovely place to leave your small animals whilst you are away. Our 2 rabbits and guinea pigs enjoyed their holiday with Linda and lots of space and toys to keep them occupied. Thank you Linda from Sniffles, Honey, Bob and George

Thank you to Linda for looking after my guinea pigs Humbug and Phoebe. They were both very happy and so well cared for. Great facilities and lots of tubes and tunnels for my piggies to run in/out of. Highly recommend Linda and her boarding service for your small furries whilst on holiday. Thank you Linda x

We left our 2 Guinea pigs with Linda for an extended period this summer, and they had a brilliant time. Lovely clean facilities, and lots of toys and space and access to grass. Even with the heatwave, Linda was able to provide them with fresh veg and had a fan in a cool shed for them when necessary. She had great attention to detail and was very quick to reply by email. Would definitely recommend.

Can't recommend Bunny Boarders enough. Linda has a fantastic set up which really does cater for your Bunnies needs. It's also very well maintained and clean. Linda really does work non-stop and and I know that our Bunny was very well looked after. Sniffles is a bit of a monkey and isn't easy to look after but I could tell that Linda went out of her way to make him feel at home!!

Bunny Boarders a brilliant large and clean facility that no rabbit would want to go home from. My bunny Buddy and Belgian Hare Woody have been treated like royalty. It's not just a business to Bunny Boarders but a passion. They care about each and every personality and cater to their individual needs. Woody my Hare requires more human contact as they are naturally a highly intelligent breed. What ever the age of breed, they will be looked after better than a human in a hotel. I have used them twice and will use again and again. I completely trust them to do what is required 110%. Enclosed are some photos of my happy hare.

As a vet, I do know that my bunnies were very well looked after and they seemed very happy there. The hutches and the pen were perfect, clean, and very cosy. I am very happy to have chosen Linda´s Bunny boarders and we will be seeing her soon.

I left my pet hamster Louis at Bunny Boarders with Linda for a week. Linda and her husband are a lovely, warm and friendly couple who took fantastic care of Louis while we were away. He had a great time and was looked after very well. I would definitely recommend Linda to anyone going away and needing somewhere for their pets to stay :)

I recently left my 2 rabbits in the very capable hands of Linda, and I was not let down by the impressive hutches and spaces the rabbits have to sleep, wander and play! I would recommend Bunny Boarders to everyone, for that extra piece of mind when you're away and need your rabbits taken care of. Linda is very attentive to the needs that each rabbits requires, and they were well looked after (I don't think they wanted to come home).

5 From Eloise Hope on

I could not have asked for better care for Henry Bun. So many wonderful toys to play with and Linda gave him so much love and attention that it really was a 5 star holiday for Henry. Thank you Linda-Henry sends lots of snuggles.
