The Dogs' Living Room

About our Home Boarding

Nestled in the beautiful countryside of Hackforth, near Bedale, The Dogs Living Room was founded with a passion for providing a loving and safe haven for pets. We believe in creating a genuine home-from-home environment, where your pet feels as comfortable and cherished as they do with you. We keep our boarding numbers very low to ensure personalised care and attention for every guest.

Accommodation:

Your dog will live with us in our comfortable home, enjoying a limited number of canine companions to reduce stress and create a true family atmosphere. We have an enclosed garden and field extending to an acre, for secure play and exercise.

Exercise:

Minimum of two 30 minute walks a day, but lots of outside entertainment and enrichment.

Health & Hygiene:

All dogs that are boarding with us must be up to date on their vaccinations, including, Distemper, Infectious Hepatitis, Parvovirus (DHP), Leptospirosis (L2 or L4), and Bordetella Bronchiseptica (Kennel Cough - KC). Canine Parainfluenza is preferred but is not mandatory. Please note KC this must be administered at least 2 weeks before your stays with us. Titre testing accepted if accompanied by a vaccination certificate for leptospirosis.
