About our Home Boarding

I am a passionate dog lover as I was brought up with animals including dogs, we always had dogs when I was a young boy as my father worked on a farm and was also a game keeper in The Lakes . This is also the case now as I have a lovely twenty month old Red Fox Lab called Sadie who is loved very much by all the family .
I built these kennels on what we would expect and want if we ever needed Sadie to stay in kennels .As well as my hands on experience with dogs I did my Dog First Aid Training and also Dog Care too .
Sadie is a member of the kennel club and we are always around family and friends dogs too.

Accommodation:

Our home is on the wickets and this is where the kennels are situated so we are there for the dogs all the time . We have a grassed back garden area that is fully fenced so the dogs can play and exercise between their walks like they would at home .

Exercise:

Here at In The Dog House we want to make your fur babies stay like a holiday for them too so we will walk them as many times as you require us to do so each day as well as giving them play time inside and outside of the kennels and also cuddles and one to one time too.
When we do go on walks we are so lucky as we live across from fields and can easily walk to Wentworth too . Our walks last for an hour or more each time we go out as we love to walk anyway .But if you have a dog who likes less time or a dog who likes to walk alone this can be done too as there is both Andrea my wife and myself who would be walking the dogs .

Health & Hygiene:

We have two kennels that are cleaned daily or more if required to do so with Kennel Cleaner that has been recommended by Animal Welfare . we also have blankets and towels that are changed daily .
we do required all pets to be fully vaccinated including having their Kennel cough vaccination too. we do need to see the vaccination records when the kennel pack is completed prior the staying .
We have a fridge for food that needs to be kept cold and also have a medication sheet for each dog if the dog requires to take medication while in our care .
We do require all the vets details prior to staying and also the insurance too or if no insurance is used a waiver must be signed . All the information is in the kennel pack sent out prior to staying .

Home Boarding Prices

Our charges are £25.00 for one dog per night .
£40.00 for two dogs per night .
£50.00 for three dogs per night.
The kennels are standard regulation sizes but our exercise area for the kennel is indoors not outside .
Each kennel can house up to three small dogs .
On booking our deposit policy is 50% and the remainder is paid 7 days before the stay and paper work must also be returned seven days before too.
If for any reason a booking is cancelled up to 7 days before then the deposit will be returned or can be used for a future booking .
Booking can be made vis bank transfer or cash .

Other Services

We do not offer any further services at this time as we dedicate all our time to the boarding dogs in our care .
