About our Home Boarding

My whole life I've lived alongside animals,growing up with dogs,cats and for the past 9 years my Labrador,Riley.
Additionally I have devoted time volunteering at dog rescues,farms and wildlife rehabilitation centers.
Through this experience, I gained valuable insights into the care of all different breeds of dogs.

Over the years, I've dedicated time to understanding animal behavior, earning various qualifications, and obtaining my pet first aid certificate. My aim is to create a nurturing, home-like environment for your pets. Two years ago,I began boarding, committing myself to delivering exceptional pet care services all documented on my Instagram @ Scratchnplay.petboarding

I am a huge animal lover and treat any pets I look after as if they are my own, giving lots of attention to make them feel very much at home and understand their needs and how they require to be cared for.
Guest pets are allowed on furniture, and usually, come evening, they will be snuggled up beside me snoring or on my lap.

Accommodation:

Safe and Comfortable Sleep: Dogs sleep downstairs in our lounge or in our front room. Both have plenty of dog beds,sofas and armchairs to choose from.
If your dog finds it challenging to settle alone at night, they are welcome to sleep upstairs with me.
If your dog sleeps in a crate at home you are welcome to supply it and any crate training will be continued.

Our garden is large and secure complete with doggy pools in the summer. I'm even considering adding ball pits and sandpits for some extra fun.

Exercise:

Our days are filled with adventures in local parks and expansive 200-acre fields, weather permitting. Dogs with a good recall get to run and play off-leash if you(the owner)permit it, while others stick to a long line. They all love it, coming back tired after a playful romp through long grass and streams.

Health & Hygiene:

Water bowls are cleaned regularly including the bowls outside,
garden is cleaned multiple times throughout the day dependent on how messy it gets.

Food prep- everything is kept clean including food bowls,if your dog is raw fed it is kept in a separate fridge to ensure no cross contamination.

If your dogs have medical needs such as insulin/tablets or allergies please let me know as your dogs health and safety is incredibly important to us.

Home Boarding Prices

Boarding: £40/night for first dog
£15/additional dog from same family

Daycare: £35/day
£5 per additional dog from same family

Other Services

My basic daycare hours are 8-6pm however I am flexible to work with the hours needed within reason.

Emily is great, super friendly and loves looking after dogs! Huba has been with her 5 times and he always has a great time with Emily, her family and other dogs. She always sends some photos and videos. So we would highly recommend Emily!
