About our Home Boarding

Hi my Name is Amanda Jane and My partners name is Martyn and we run and own Paws 4 a Break. We both hold pet first aid certificates. I hold a diploma in dog walking and pet sitting a certificate in dog care level 3 ofqual certified daycare and home boarding certificate and I am also a certified Dog trainer. We use to live in
Turkey and helped with the dog pound and street dogs and cats over there. Fostering dogs until they could get their injections and passports to come back to the Uk. We also set up a charity called Feedaply to raise funds to feed the street animals. We are passionate about all animals and feel so lucky to be able to run a buisness doing what we both love. We are DBS checked and fully insured by Pet plan and also Licensed by Doncaster county council.

Accommodation:

We live in a 3 bedroom end semi detached property but bought another plot of land at the side of us to give more space for the dogs to run around. The garden is secure with either 6 foot walls or fencing and all gates are kept padlocked on the inside. We have pet first aid kits in the house and also fire extinguishers, fire blankets etc. Your dogs face will have the full run of the house and garden but safety gates are on the stairs and dogs are only allowed up if we are up there.

Exercise:

We have a local park within a 3 minute walk but we are also very close to country parks and boating lakes with the woods only being a short drive away so whatever your dogs need are we can accommodate. We do realise not all dogs need or can cope with a long walk whilst others would stay out all day so we take the owners guidance on this .

Health & Hygiene:

Our home is kept clean and tidy and all harmful substances are kept in childproof cupboards. All dogs must be fully vaccinated and we need to see proof of this. We also ask that worming and flea treatment is up to date. All dog toys and bowls are fully disinfected every evening.

Home Boarding Prices

Home boarding £30 per dog per day
Day care £25 per day
Day care school £30 per day and half price second dog
Pet sitting £50- £75 per night
Dog walking group walks £12 per hour £7 per extra dog from same home
Dog walking solo £15 per hour and £5 extra second dog from same household
Popins from £7 depending on location and time needed
Pet taxi .. price on request

Other Services

I also do dog training if required either on a walk and train service or a 1-1 with yourself and the dog. Group classes and a day school also available
