We built our home here at St Mary in the Willows in 2003. The property sits in 2.66 acres and adjoins Aylesbeare Common RSPB Reserve. Surrounded by the Countryside our home is where the heart is and our Animals are a central point of reference to life here.
We have a pathway cleared to walk around the field. We have two sheep who help manage the grass. Dogs are walked on lead unless we are confident of there safety and permission gained from owner to walk off lead. We have access to Aylesbeare Common and Woodbury Common 5 mins away by car.
Health & Hygiene:
We require proof of vaccination history for all bookings. In addition kennel cough vaccination too. Details of Flea and Worming history together with a questionnaire to gain an insight into the character of our Guest. We are well placed to look after Dogs that need that extra care as we are small and only have three rooms available to board (Max of 9 dogs on the premises at any one time).
Home Boarding Prices
Our prices - £ 25.00 per day - Room + Treats (additional dog £12.00 each) Food can be provided but we would prefer not to alter the normal diet where possible

Reviews from Our Guests
A big thank you to Lynne and Andrew for the care and attention looking after Poppy and Ted. It is such a relief to find somewhere that our dogs are looked after so well. This was the 2nd time they have stayed and both dogs seemed to have enjoyed themselves. We had to drop them off really early and Andrew was up and ready for us and made dropping them off really easy. They are booked in again in August and know we will not feel nearly so anxious about leaving them as we have before. When we picked them up both Lynne and Andrew spent time with us telling us how Poppy and Ted had been. We never felt rushed either on dropping or picking them up. Andrew sent us a text whilst we were away letting us know that both dogs were ok, which really puts your mind at rest. Many thanks to you both

A huge thank you to Andrew & Lynne for looking after our little 'girl' whilst we enjoyed a short break. Wonderful care, once again, and total peace of mind for us. Great to see that your dog hotel has become such a huge success - you both deserve it! See you next time. Mark & Carol, 30 Jun 18

Andrew and Lynne provide wonderful dog care. We left our little labradoodle who craves company and she was very well looked after and happy. Would not hesitate to recommend.

My dog, a very severe epileptic, spent 10 days at the dog hotel and although was having seizures was very well looked after. I was kept updated of his care, which I had requested, they had to accommodate to his condition and they did with no questions asked. Alot of other kennels and home boarding refused to take him because of his epilepsy, but not at the willows. On picking him up he was calm and looked rested. Since being home he has got back into his normal routine as happy as he was when we dropped him off. I would thoroughly recommend the willows to anyone. The owners are big animal lovers and it shows.

Another successful stay for our four-legged little girl! We had a 9-day overseas holiday with complete peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that she would be extremely well-looked after. Thank you once again Andrew & Lynne!

After searching for something more luxurious than traditional dog kennels for so long, we are so glad that we found this lovely Dog Hotel! It is exactly what we wanted. St Mary in the Willows provides a loving, caring, personal environment for their four-legged guests, and we were able to enjoy our short break safe in the knowledge that our girl would be extremely well looked after. Thank you so much Andrew & Lynne, and see you again soon!
