Hi, I’m Bethany, and my passion is animals. My formal qualifications include a Diploma in Animal Care, a Certificate in Animal Care, and a Certificate in Pet First Aid. I combine hands-on experience with extensive knowledge to give your beloved pets the care they truly deserve.

Throughout my life, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals—rabbits, hamsters, rats, cats, dogs, gerbils, a tortoise, and even a snake. My deep love and passion for animals inspired me to create Beth’s Small Pet Boarding—a full-time, family-supported business built around providing exceptional care for small pets in a safe, loving, and enriching environment focusing on ensuring pets feel secure, stimulated, and happy, with routines tailored to suit their individual needs.

Beth’s Small Pet Boarding is my full-time business, allowing me to devote the time, attention, and care your pets need—not just for their health and safety, but also for their emotional wellbeing and happiness.

While I run the business myself, I’m supported by my animal-loving family, each with valuable experience in caring for a variety of breeds and species both at home and professionally. This means that even in the event of illness or emergency, your pets are always in trusted hands.

I know how important peace of mind is when you're apart from your pets. That’s why I offer regular updates and photos, so you can see your pet enjoying their little holiday as much as you’re enjoying yours.

Accommodation:

I have built a bespoke, fully insulated, ventilated, and temperature-controlled facility to ensure pets are kept comfortable, calm, and safe throughout their stay. 2 large opening windows allow natural daylight in and a split stable style opening door allows for further natural daylight and ventilation. The accommodation is also fitted with cameras allowing me to monitor them instantly 24/7

Rabbits and guinea pigs enjoy spacious 6ft x 2ft x 2ft hutches, with access to all-weather, secure, shaded outdoor exercise runs—usable year-round thanks to specialized drainage and protective cover.

Hamsters, rats, and gerbils are housed indoors in your own provided cage (or one of my cages if needed).

Enrichment is provided suitable for and tailored to each individual pet.
