As a dedicated family business based in Heswall, we understand that your small pets are part of the family. That’s why we provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where they receive the same care and attention we give our own animals.

Accommodation:

Our unique indoor, homely set-up is based within our house, ensuring your pets are never left in cold outdoor sheds or isolated spaces. Instead, they stay in a warm, secure, and comfortable environment where they are monitored closely and cared for daily.

Exercise:

Our runs are custom made so we always provide service specifically adjusted to your pets needs. We make sure pets have toys and good space for daily exercise.

Health & Hygiene:

All hutches and bowls will be cleaned daily. In between visits all hutches are thoroughly cleaned and sterilised.

We can provide grooming for your pet during their stay if required. All brushes are sterilised prior to use or you can bring your own if preferred.

During your pets stay all dry food must be provided. Rabbits have very sensitive digestive systems, any changes to food can cause harm. Pl​ease let us know if your rabbit has any dietary requirements. Fresh herbs timothy hay and vegetables will be provided as part of our service. We also provide Fibasticks to aid in your pets digestion.

All rabbits staying with us must have a current up to date vaccination certificate against Myxomatosis and VHD (Viral Haemorrhagic Disease). Please bring the certificate with you on the day of arrival.

Guinea Pig Boarding Prices

Single Rabbit/guinea pig- £7.00 per day
Breeding Pair- £12.00 per day

Hamster- £5 per day

Small bird- £7

We do ask that you provide your own pellets/ food.

We require a payment in full on the day of arrival. Daily rates include the day of arrival and date of collection.

Other Services

We understand that you may worry about your pet/s whilst away, if you have whattsapp we can provide photos of your pet/ updates on how they have settled in. Alternatively we can provide emails and/or texts.

Absolutely lovely experience with Wirral Small Pets Hotel. My husband and I were away for 3 weeks and left our three hamsters in their care. They were very accommodating seeing as we had a few large DIY bin cages we brought over for our two dwarf hamsters and one Syrian hamster who each had their own cage. Kept in a clean, warm room in their home in a quiet neighborhood. They sent updates and photos to my husband's phone whilst on our vacation which was a nice touch and gave us piece of mind that they were well cared for. Can not recommend them enough. Definitely will use their service again in the future!
