My purpose built suites are made to the highest British Standards and are manufactured to the exacting standards as set out in the Animal Act 2007 updated in October 2018. Fully licensed and insured. Independently owned and run by me.
A soft planted environment allowing enrichment from their surroundings and aiming to sooth away any anxieties that they may have initially from being away from home and you.
They are the first thing I check on in the morning and the last thing at night saying good night and giving them a cuddle before bedtime. All guests are given lots of time, attention, play and love to make sure that they settle in, enjoy their holiday, going home happy and wanting to return.
I ensure that our guests have everything that they may need during their stay with me and to that end, and also as a requirement of the licensing process, I hold a Level 3 Qualification in Feline Care, Behaviour and Welfare, which is above the required licensing level in Care of Felines in Catteries and Feline Behaviour and Psychology.
Although the suites have activity areas there is also a Gym comprising of a cat wheel in order for the guests to have a more vigorous work out!
The continuing health of my guests is my highest priority. My standards are high and I will never accept second best in any area of the hotel, be it cleaning, food or even the litter I use Everything for our guests is of the highest quality. Should I be concerned about any guest whilst in my care, I will seek veterinary advice immediately via Grove Lodge who are the vets that I am registered with. They operate a 24 hour hospital and are situated 5 mins away.
To ensure that the transmission of any disease or ailments to my guests is controlled, it is a requirement that all animal vaccinations and/or boosters are all up to date before arrival at the hotel and therefore request that you provide the medical record completed by your vet before the guests visit. Flea and worm treatments should all be given prior to arrival.
I use a very high-quality veterinary disinfectant daily and ensure that my bio-security standards are kept to the highest possible level. All our bedrooms can be adapted to fulfill the needs of elderly, infirm or convalescent guests with veterinary padding on the floors and removable shelves for those who can’t or just shouldn’t jump. I am happy to nurse convalescent guests with the approval of your own vet.
£14 per cat per night but this includes everything no extra charges for electricity, food or insurance.
No cancellation fees.
Payment by Bank Transfer.
Battling with a busy work schedule? Struggling to make all your holiday arrangements before you go? I can help take some of the pressure off by collecting and/or delivering the guests door to door. Perhaps a more suitable time than my opening hours, whether that’s during your lunchtime or early evening once you are home from work.
I offer a delivery and collection service, cost determined by distance and number of guests. The vehicle is fully insured to carry the guests and all carriers are restrained in seat belts so they are secure and protected whilst having a large glass roof to see through. This helps them to feel less confined and less anxious, cats don’t like travelling at the best of times and so anything to ease this stress on them, and you of course, is paramount. Cats also pick up on your stress and so if you’re likely to be upset whilst transporting your loved one and get distressed by their mewing then the discreet delivery and collection service will alleviate this for you both.
