About our Boarding Cattery

Lodley Cattery is owned and run exclusively by ourselves, Eric and Eileen Smith. We are both trained in International Cat Care Cattery Management (formerly known as FAB the Feline Advisory Bureau) and are members of PIF (Pet Industry Federation).
5*****star Animal Activities Licensing (AAL) rating.

Accommodation:

As lifelong cat owners, we have invested in the very best facilities with our feline friends in mind and are delighted to have created Lodley Cattery.
We have 19 insulated suites and can accommodate from one feline guest to families of up to 4 cats. Access to the suites is only through a lockable door from reception which leads into the safety corridor. Each of the cosy, insulated suites are furnished with ergonomically-designed beds that are lined with Vetbed Gold, as recommended by the veterinary profession. Cat scratching posts and toys are all provided but you are welcome to bring any of your cat's favourite possessions to keep them company during their stay.

Exercise:

Each suite has a light, spacious exercise area with uninterrupted views across the open countryside. Our feline guests can enjoy a semi-outdoor experience from the safety of their suite and relax and watch Welsummer chickens and Jacob sheep roam on our land.
During inclement weather, screens are fitted over the safety corridor so our guests can still enjoy the country views whilst keeping the fresh air circulating.

Health & Hygiene:

We built Lodley Cattery to the highest industry standards and hygiene, comfort and safety are assured. We are 5*****star AAL licensed and compliant with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Model Licence Conditions for Cat Boarding.

Boarding Cattery Prices

Daily Tariff

£17.00 per day – single cat

£28.00 per day – two cats (same family sharing)

£35.00 per day - three cats (same family sharing)

£42.00 per day - four cats (same family sharing)

Tariff is charged on a daily basis, commencing on the day of arrival. A full day’s board is charged for the day of departure.

A deposit of £20 is required within 5 days of making a provisional booking, either credit card or cash payments accepted. On receipt of the deposit your booking will become a confirmed booking and no further action is needed. Should payment not be received within 5 days, the provisional booking will be cancelled.

Cancellations made 15 days prior to the boarding date will not incur charges and the deposit paid may be carried forward to a future booking – at the discretion of Lodley Cattery management.

We recommend bookings are made well in advance of peak periods.

We do not add any surcharge for public holidays.

Tariff adjustments are made at the beginning of January each year and following publication are applicable to all bookings placed for the calendar year.
