About our Small Pet Boarding
RabbitsGuinea PigsHamsters, Mice etc.Bunny Barn is a small pet boarding hotel for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters & more. We have run Bunny Barn since 2012 and I have studied a Level 3 Animal Care Course and achieved a Distinction. My rabbits Biscuit & Meena are permanent residents at the Bunny Barn.
Accommodation:
Pets stay in hutches in cosy 'barns' that are insulated and have electricity. A variety of hutch sizes are available. The hutches are custom built so are deeper than standardised hutches.
Exercise:
Animals staying in the first Barn will spend their day in a run in warmer weather, and during cold weather will be given free run of the barn for a period each day. All hutches in the second Barn have a run attached to them so the animals can run in and out at will all day.
Health & Hygiene:
They will be kept clean and comfortable, with their bedding changed regularly. We have heat pads and electricity for a heater in cold weather to keep your pet warm. In the unlikely event of your pet needing veterinary care, we can either take your pet to their usual vet or one of the vets local to us. All rabbits must be vaccinated against myxomatosis and both strains of VHD.
Small Pet Boarding Prices
We politely ask for a 25% deposit to confirm all bookings. This can be sent to us through the post by cheque, dropped off if you live locally, or paid by bank transfer. Prices can be found on our website. Full payment to be paid on arrival please.
Other Services
We will brush any pets that are particularly long-haired and need grooming regularly. We can also give any medications required but please contact us beforehand to discuss this.

We would highly recommend the Bunny Barn to look after your pets. We found them via this site and after great communication we booked to leave our pet rats with them whilst we went on holiday. After meeting Megan and her family, we were happy that "Roland" and "Cookie" would be well looked after. On returning from our holiday our pets were happy and they settled as soon as we got home. We would recommend the Bunny Barn to anybody who needs boarding for their small pets while away.

The guinea pigs were well looked after and enjoyed their stay. They are allowed time to eat grass in the garden which they enjoyed. Staff give a high level of care and have a lot of knowledge about caring for guinea pigs.

Thank you for looking after our 3 lizards .Definitely recommend bunny barn. Saw lots of happy bunnies in their runs in the garden. Great reliable service would definitely use again.

We have used the Bunny Barn several times now and always go back because our guinea pigs are well looked after. They have nice hutches, lots of space, excellent food and they are petted just like at home. It really is the personal touch so we know we are leaving Misty and Belle in good hands. Definitely recommend!

Our rabbits, Cider and Dexter, had a lovely stay at the Bunny Barn. They were well cared for and the barn is spacious and clean. It was good to go on holiday knowing that our rabbits were being looked after by people who are animal lovers. I will definitely use the Bunny Barn again.
