The Mother Hen offers a holiday chicken, duck, rabbit care/visiting service by an experienced chicken, duck and rabbit owner covering Wirral, Merseyside and Cheshire. Happy to do either daily or twice daily visits. Visits include feeding, watering, egg collecting and daily cleaning.

I also offer chicken boarding care at my home in Irby for up to 6/7 hens, depending on size/breed. They will be well cared for in an omlet eglu, completely separate to my hens. Everything is included, just drop them off and pick them up! No minimum stay!

Health & Hygiene:

Cleanliness is extremely important at both The Mother Hen HQ and when I am visiting hens in their own environment.

Every homecare set up is deep cleaned thoroughly with poultry virenza disinfectant cleaner between each and every customer. This includes the house, run, all steel weldmesh, covers, drinkers and feeders. Ground sanitising powder is also used. Each setup is completely under cover with both food and drink under cover. Each setup is also completely separate from any other hens.

When attending home visits, I wear a new pair of disposable protective shoe covers for every visit. Washing hands and hand sanitising before and after each visit.
