About our Small Pet Boarding
RabbitsGuinea PigsBirdsReptilesHamsters, Mice etc.I have grown up with all sorts of animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, fish, chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, a terrapin, cats, dogs and horses. At present I have a dog, four guinea pigs, a horse and a pony.
My love for animals took me to Glasgow University where I graduated with a BSc in Zoology. I also have worked in riding stables, a dairy farm and a pet shop.
I am fully insured to care for your pet.
Accommodation:
I have a secure, fenced garden for any outdoor pets. I provide the hutch and a safe outdoor run. I have a designated room inside my home for indoor pets. Indoor rabbits and guinea pigs are kept in enclosures not cages. Each enclosure is designed around the individual animal(s) needs therefore it changes with every new arrival.I have C and C enclosures available. Hamsters, mice, rats, birds must come in their own cage.
Exercise:
Outdoor pets will have daily access to a secure grass enclosure which can be covered if raining. Indoor pets can have playtime in the room. Various toys will be provided depending on animal’s requirements. If you're pet is happy to be handled then lots of cuddles will be provided along with a daily groom.
Health & Hygiene:
I can administer medication if required. All cages /enclosures /toys/ bowls etc are cleaned and sterilised after each use. A record of your vet and any allergies will be required.
Small Pet Boarding Prices
Prices start from £5 per night for rabbits and guinea pigs. Smaller pets from £4 per night. Discounts are available for multiple pets and duration of stay.
Other Services
I have a pet taxi service which allows me to collect or return your animal should you be unable to do so. This is a small additional cost. I also provide home visits should you prefer your pet(s) remain in their own home environment.

Do you have a cat that gets super stressed or anxious in cattery or being home boarded elsewhere ? Then get in touch with Val. She came to my home multiple times a day to feed and spend some time with my cat Ace . Val must have the magic touch as Ace was chatting away to her and being a good boy (he doesn't really like people except me) so it was very reassuring to know he was happy , content and relaxed while I got to enjoy a holiday. I have used this service a few times to board my bunny Angel. Valerie is lovely very attentive and so lovely with my bunny, nothing was a bother to her. Angel wanted to stay longer!

Valerie at Animal Collective Pet Services is extremely helpful, organised, welcoming and has a vast knowledge of all pets and animals. Our two male guinea pigs stayed for boarding for 3 nights at Animal Collective Pet Services. They had a great area to stay in with lots of guinea pig hidey holes, appropriate toys, hay, bedding, fresh water and vegetables. Valerie let us know how the guineas were settling in. I would highly recommend Animal Collective Pet Services and we will definitely book our guinea pigs in here again in the future.

Our Pet rabbit, Nibbles, stayed with Valerie for eights nights in July 2019. We travelled from Glasgow and it was easy to find and parking was right outside her house. Nibbles had a great stay and appears to have been excellently looked after. Valerie sent regular updates and photos which the children were very pleased about. He was housed in a great outdoor hutch and he had access to the grassy area via two large runs. The hutch seems clean, hygienic, safe and secure. Valerie insured that the other animals boarding don't mix. Nibbles got to take home a wee wicker toy which he had used while on holiday which was a nice touch. We will definitley use Valerie again. Also, the cost per night was very reasonable. Brilliant service.
