About our Small Pet Boarding

Hi there, I come from a farming background and as a consequence i have been involved with the care, well-being and breeding of a wide range of different animals.I developed a particular interest in birds which has provided me with a vast array of experience and expertise in bird health,nutrition and training.

Accommodation:

Perches Bird and Pet Hotel is housed in purpose-built cabins with underfloor heating and air conditioning.There is a full CCTV system with night vision and an alarm in place with wireless shock sensors on doors and windows. The cabins have double glazing. We cater for a large variety of animals and have a large selection of cages. We also provide a internal aviary for the larger birds that come to Perches. We can supply internal hutches up to 6 x 3ft and also vivariums.

Exercise:

There is a daily routine for all pets at Perches; we will also ask you about specific routines to ensure your pet settles quickly and comfortably. Fresh water and seed is provided in the morning and evening, and then a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables during the day. If your bird is on a pelleted diet then we would ask you to bring this with you.

Health & Hygiene:

We can provide any size of cage or if you prefer you can bring your own if your bird would be happier. Most birds settle in well if you just bring a few of their favourite toys and perches. We use Avisafe products.
A condition of boarding is that your pet is in a fit and healthy condition. Pets are boarded at the sole risk of their owners and whilst every care will be taken, we cannot be liable for illness, injury or death of any pet in our care. If however your pet falls ill and needs veterinary care whilst at Perches Bird and Pet Hotel we will make every attempt to contact you on the telephone numbers provided. You will be expected to cover the costs of any veterinary charges. Perches Bird and Pet Hotel also have infra-red heat lamps on stand by whenever needed.

Small birds £11.25 per night
Parrots, Senegal to Amazon £13.25 per night
Macaws, £18.75per night
Reptiles - £11.00 per night (price includes heat lamp and UVA and UVB)
Tortoises £7.35
Chickens £3.75 per night with own pellets.

Other Services

Perches has an in-house pet shop and website selling everything from bird toys to lots of foods and treats for your animals.

We also have 6 x 4 sheds with large secure runs for Chickens.
