About our Home Boarding

We are Heidi and David Anderson. Our lives revolve around our animals, especially dogs. Between us we have run kennels, held stray dog contracts for local councils and Police station's (over 1,000 dogs rehomed and more than 800 reunited with their owners), run a dog training business, founded and run an animal welfare charity, and run quarantine transport for pets. David has also shown, worked and bred Dobermann since the 80s as well as being a championship show judge, judging Dobermann at Crufts in 2017 and internationally.

Accommodation:

Set within over 20 acres of private, fenced land (most perimeter fencing is 6ft), including 12 acres of ancient woodland to explore, our home is a haven for dogs.
Dogs live our home with us as part of our family during their stay.
Your dog has a choice of many soft beds, crates and are allowed on sofas and chairs. The garden is wrap around and divided into three sections and has direct access to our fields and then onto our woodland.
There is always someone here to care for your dogs and ensure their welfare and safety.

Exercise:

Going straight onto our own fields, exercise is mainly off lead (subject to owners permission) exploring our own land without interference from unknown dogs or people.
We take our dogs out at least twice a day every day - rain or shine. Walks are a minimum of 20 minutes each.
For those dogs unable to cope with this, alternative enrichment arrangements are agreed with their owners to make sure they remain happy and contented.

Health & Hygiene:

All dogs have to be vaccinated to stay with us and their health and well being is paramount.
For those on medication, any medication is administered as per their owner/vet instructions during their stay.
Living with us, dogs are constantly monitored. Heidi holds a dog first aid certificate, just in case!

Home Boarding Prices

Our pricing is all inclusive with food and treats included (natural diet) from £25 per night.

Other Services

We are happy to offer day care for those dogs that have previously stayed with us.
