Welcome to Nanny Kim’s Dog Boarding. I am mum to Laura and Nanny to her crazy comical Dachshund Dexter. Also, we are mum and sister to our now ANGEL Labrador’s…. Guinness and Buddy.

I have been surrounded by these amazing animals from birth, my daughter also and it would be inconceivable to imagine life without a doggo to cherish!
So, I am going to explain what motivated me to open my own home from home boarding for dogs.

After graduating from University with a Criminology Degree, my daughter realised pretty quickly this was not the path she wanted to take. So, with some consideration she knew she had to follow her heart.

In September 2022, Laura set up her own dog walking business aptly named ‘Laurs Paws'. She has gone from strength to strength. This has been the best decision made and she enjoys every single day with her ‘muttley’ crew members.

Shortly after, she was getting inundated with request for home boarding.
After turning down these requests, it was discussed that I should take on this roll…it made perfect sense!! With all the experience I have had, not only with my own family dogs, but friends’ dogs and their friends’ dogs too.

I’ve cared for many different breeds from Labs, Goldies, Poodles, German shepherds, staffs, boxers, Bullies, Spaniels, Dachshunds, Dobermans, Collies and many mixed breeds....the list goes on!

ADVENTURES AWAIT ON A SUNSHINEY BEACH, WHERE PUPS WILL SPLASH AROUND AND GET SAND IN THEIR FEET.

IF THE SEASIDE GOES AMISS, PERHAPS THE WOODLANDS WOULD BRING MORE BLISS, WHERE PUPS CAN GET MUCKY AND FEEL SUPER LUCKY!

AT THE END OF THE DAY, ONCE ALL EXPLORING IS OVER, NOTHING WILL BEAT SNUGGLING UP ON THE SOFA.

Accommodation:

My home will be your doggos home during their stay. They can sniff and roam anywhere they want. All couches will be at their disposal. I have two large rooms, front of house and a room off the kitchen. I also have a large garden, which will be available to them at all times.
I will supply cot mattresses for them to sleep on, or you can bring their own beds.

Exercise:

I spend a lot of time outdoors with my fury grandson Dexter, so mornings could be anything between an hour or two depending on weather conditions. Afternoons/early evening will be an hour or so.
If available and I board two doggos plus, I will be hiring a secured private field in Thurstaston called DEE DOG PARK.

When at home, your doggo will be stimulated with enrichment games.

Health & Hygiene:

Before boarding, we will get together for a 'MEET & GREET. Please bring with you evidence of:

1) Up to date vaccinations
2) Pet insurance
3) Neutered proof
4) No bitches on heat excepted

UNWELL DOGS WILL NOT BE EXCEPTED....THEY NEED TO BE AT HOME AND CARED FOR BY THEIR FAMILY!

DAY/NIGHT - £40 per dog
(24 hours)

*FULL WEEKEND- Friday 10 am to Monday 10 am
£120 per dog*

Dogs from the SAME FAMILY will reduce from two
dogs onwards.

£120 for 1 dog
£210 x 2 dogs
£270 x 3 dogs
£300 x 4 dogs

*One week from SAME FAMILY*
7 nights

£280 for 1 dog
£490 x 2 dogs
£630 x 3 dogs
£700 x 4 dogs
Two walks a day included in these prices

*NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY PICK UPS*

After our MEET & GREET and you are happy to go ahead with boarding, I will take a NON-REFUNDABLE payment of 25%. This will need to be paid within 24 hours of our meeting. This will give you the time to fully read my contract and policies and to not go ahead if you change your mind.

Other Services

Your doggos will be taken out twice a day. We will visit beaches, woods etc and if available, my daughter and I will hire a private field called DEE DOG PARK.... if we have more than two dogs boarding.
