My name is Ailsa and I am pictured here with my two best friends, Frankie and Chizzi. I started this business in 2005 as I needed to go away and couldn't find any alternative to kennels. Frankie was only very young then and I was heartbroken at the thought of leaving him in kennels, hence Creature Comforts was born and we have gone from strength to strength. We are very proud of our reputation and have a huge number of repeat customers. We have become very fond of the dogs who visit here and we feel privileged that their owners trust us with their precious companions. We very much look forward to meeting you soon and hope your dog will also become part of the Creature Comforts family.
We live in a safe, rural area with fully enclosed gardens. Your dog will always, without exception, be with us at all times in the house. They will never be confined to any rooms they will have full run of the house and even their own spot on the sofa in front of the fully enclosed log burner!
We go out daily for lovely country walks in safe environments such as Moel Famau or Rhes-y-Cae. We also have lovely walks around us in a lovely rural setting. We always adhere to the owners instructions regarding exercise to ensure your dog is happy and healthy when they come home.
Health & Hygiene:
We are stringent with regards to the health and hygiene of your dog. All eating bowls are cleaned after every meal and water is constantly fresh.
Home Boarding Prices
£16.00 per day for one dog £27.00 per day for two dogs.
If you live close by we are happy to offer home visits just give me a call to discuss further. We are also happy to offer a collect and return service at a cost of £1.00 per mile from our property to yours.

We have been using Creature Comforts for 7yrs now and Sophie loves her holidays with them. She gets so excited when she realises where she is going and we can relax and enjoy our holidays knowing she is being well looked after.

I have used the home boarding at Creature Comforts Home Boarding for several years now. Over the years 4 of my dogs have been boarded there. I know that my dogs are safe, happy and are well cared for there and have more walks than at home! My family have had many holidays in the knowledge of this and I wouldn't let my dogs go anywhere else. Big thank you Ailsa.

I have been using Creature Comforts for over 7 years and my boxer is so happy and content. I go on holiday and know that he is in a home and being well looked after. The lady who has him sends videos and photos of Muppet to me while I am on holiday. I highly recommend Creature Comforts.

My three border collies (and I) rate Creature Comforts Home Boarding as the best doggies boarding experience ever. My BC's literally dive out the car upon arrival - and something akin to press gang techniques and bribery is needed to coax them to return home when their booking is up - such is the active, fun time they have enjoyed with Ailsa in rural North Wales!! Fantastic service - book with complete confidence.

We have been happy customers for about 14 years. Our dogs are very happy at Ailsa's and are 'full of beans' when we pick them up. Ailsa is a real dog lover. She is also very reliable, a good communicator and easy to contact. We have no hesitation about leaving our dogs with Ailsa.

Ailsa provides a home from home environment for our dog. We can go away and not worry about her knowing she is happy in safe hands.
Communication is always quick and easy and Ailsa will make drop off and collection easy and convenient.
I can highly recommend Creature Comforts.

Ailsa has looked after our 2 year old cavcockapoo, Poppy, twice this year and I can highly recommend the service. The drop off and pick up arrangements are always convenient and on time to fit in with our plans. Poppy loves going on her holiday in North Wales.

We had never left Pip with anyone other than family and so were naturally nervous at him staying with anyone else for 10 days. We needn't have worried as soon as he met Ailsa we knew he'd be ok. She has a wonderful way with dogs and Pip settled in quickly having his own sofa and new doggy friends. Ailsa and her Hubby sent photos of Pip and his new friends throughout our holiday and kept us updated. We would recommend Creature Comforts and Ailsa

What can be said about the team and the service provided to our two boys, Zeus and Santo.
I am not sure who has the better holiday as they bound out of the car to get into creature comforts, and have to be tempted out with their favourite treats to come home.
Nothing is too much trouble, happy to keep you appraised of how the boys are doing if we needed.
This without doubt is so much better than kennels, a holiday treat for the furry team.
See you all soon.

Faith was lovingly cared for with Alisa and her family for two weeks in August 2019. It was such a great experience for us all, knowing that Faith was having a holiday of her own while we enjoyed ours! She had great walks everyday and was in great condition upon our return. What impressed me the most was that on collecting Faith she was happy to see me but then returned to be at the side of Alisa. Showed me that she felt very comfortable with them. Alisa met us closer to my home address for pick up and drop off. Alisa was helpful, kind and I know that I will be using this creature comforts home boarding again.

I have boarded our dog Oscar with creature comforts on a number of occasions over the last couple of years and have always found Ailsa to be very professional and accommodating, willing to take Oscar sometimes with little notice, which we greatly appreciate. It is clear that Ailsa enjoys looking after Oscar and I always feel very happy leaving him there.

We have used Ailsa at Creature Comforts for the last 11 years and to say that she provides our dog with a home from home is an understatement! We know he is happy staying with Ailsa and her family and that allows us to enjoy our time away without worrying about our special dog. Without Ailsa and Creature Comforts we would simply not go away!
From Sandra Chisholm on
Our dog is a massive part of our family so when we go away we want to know that he is also going away on his holidays! He absolutely loves going to Creature Comforts! In fact when he arrives he rushes of to meet Ailsa and from that point onwards we know he is happy and in great hands. We 100% trust he is looked after and loved whilst we are away. He gets great exercise and his usual diet so he is in great hands. When we come to pick him up we also know that he has a decision to make and the fact that he would be happy to stay is testament to the quality of care he receives. We would 110% recommend Creature Comforts.

We have been taking our Shizu barney to Ailsa for many years. He loves going there and the peace of mind it gives to us knowing he is so well looked after it is home from home to him. We can enjoy our breaks away and not worry about him at all. Would thoroughly recommend Ailsa and her family the care given is second to none can't thank her enough.

My dogs Lola and Dave have had a wonderful weeks stay at creature comforts, they came home happy with wagging tails. Alisa is such a star with dogs and truly takes care of them as if they were her own, couldn't recommend her enough x thank you so muchâï¸â¤ï¸

We have used Creature Comforts for over 15 years, all our dogs treat their stay as a holiday. As soon as they arrive they make themselves at home. We have always had the same person looking after the boys. Even at short notice Ailsa always trys to find a solution, one time even offering to take our 2 boys at her own home, meaning her own dog would have to stay at her parents, now that's service.
6 stars from us

Our beautiful black lab Socks has been visiting Creature Comforts for the past 10-years and I can safely say he absolutely loves it. He is looked after as if he was at home (if not better 😉). Nothing is ever too much trouble and Ailsa is an absolute star. Our dog adores visiting her, her family and all the horses in an area which is stunning and beautiful. Socks is hoping to visit again soon.
From Kate Fellows on
We were so lucky to find Ailsa at Creature Comforts on a recommendation from another dog walker as we were finding it really difficult to find a home boarder for our two dogs as we don't like kennels.
She is very accommodating, reliable, friendly and our dogs absolutely love staying with her at her home. They have stayed on several occasions for a night, weekend and for 2 week holidays and every time have come back happy, healthy which has meant everything to us and gives you great peace of mind when you are away knowing that they are being well looked after/cared for.
Ailsa will give you all the information you need and can arrange a home visit at her home for you to see where they will stay should you so wish.
We cannot recommend Ailsa highly enough, she is an absolute gem and we wouldn't have our dogs stay anywhere else and trust her implicitly with their care.
Fantastic home boarding.x

Ailsa at creature comforts home boarding is amazing. My little sausage dog Frank loves going on his holidays to Ailsa's. His tail starts wagging as soon as we pull up outside and he runs off without looking back! He comes home exhausted from all the lovely country walks he's been on. I really struggled to find a home from home and that is definitely what Ailsa provides. I wouldn't use anyone else. Highly recommended for your furry family members.

Alice our springer has been pampered at the dog sitters home during our holidays each year . She wags her tail as she approaches her second home and is always looked after .
I have no hesitation in recommending Alisa s services and extended dog sitters for a worry free holiday for you and your dog.
Many thanks Ailsa
