About our Small Pet Boarding

A home from home boarding facility. We offer optimum attention, love and care for your pet while you are on holiday in spacious, clean, safe housing.

"All inclusive" holidays for your pets as the cost includes:
all litter and bedding, litter trays, bowls and bottles, toys, treats, usual dried food, fresh food/herbs, free flow hay, cleaning, fuss, Snugglesafe Heat Pads in winter, Ice Pods in summer, company, care and attention.

Accommodation:

Safe, solid timber, fully secure and weatherproof hutches which meet or exceed RSPCA requirements are situated in a sheltered courtyard setting within our secluded and private garden. House bunny and Guinea pig accommodation is 6ft and situated inside our home.

Exercise:

We provide spacious housing and plenty of toys and enrichment activities. Being prey species and territorial in nature with a natural aversion to being picked up, we have found that guests are more than happy with this arrangement and are settled and happy for their holiday. They are given every opportunity for free movement and activity.

Health & Hygiene:

hutches are cleaned frequently with veterinary grade disinfectant and with a steam cleaner between boarders. All feeding bowls and water bottles are sterilised between boarders. A dustpan and brush is provided per accommodation for infection control purposes.

Only vaccinated and neutered rabbits may stay at Dandelion Den. We do not board unvaccinated or unwell animals.

We are fully insured and have a good relationship with a local vet who is very knowledgeable about small pets and exotics (rabbits)

Small Pet Boarding Prices

£10 per day, per hutch (regardless of number of guests)

We have covid safe procedures in place.

Other Services

Hamster boarding is available if you are also boarding Guinea pigs or rabbits with us, for an additional charge of £3 per day.
