About our Small Pet Boarding

We board: RabbitsGuinea PigsHamsters, Mice etc.

Based in Yateley, Hampshire, we provide a unique 5* luxury boarding service for rabbits and guinea pigs.  We are a family run business and Ashleigh is home all day to make sure your precious ones are happy and content.  We initially set up the business as for many years we have looked after animals for friends and family and at one point we had 3 guinea pigs and 10 rabbits of our own!  We currently have 2 mini lops who are just adorable.  Your furry friend will become part of our family during their stay with us and we are more than happy to give you regular updates for your peace of mind if you so wish.  We have a fantastic veterinary centre just across the road from us which is perfect in the unlikely event that your loved one became unwell.  Please have a look at our gallery which shows the very spacious accommodation available.  You are more than welcome to come and take a look around before booking, just give us a call to arrange an appointment.

The accommodation priced from £14 to £16 a day has direct access via a small bunny sized door to a run on hardstanding. These can be used daily throughout the year and are locked at night.

The accommodation at £12 a day has access to a run during the months of March and September. They are safely transported during the day, via their carrier, for play time.

I've left my rabbit Enzo with Ashleigh on a number of occasions with her wonderful family they treat him so well it's such a good service and you can tell they really care for rabbits. They also kindly gave him eye medication for one stay, above and beyond service. They get very busy as a result you must book early to avoid disappointment.. thank you so much for spoiling Enzo he's very lucky.

Dandelion Cottage is to bunnies what the Burj Al Arab is to humans. Absolute luxury. They are so very loved whilst there and I always get the impression mine would rather stay there than come home! I wouldn't send them anywhere else

We wanted our bunny (Benji) to be in the best possible care while away on holiday and decided to use Dandelion Cottage after reading so many positive reviews and it did not disappoint. The rabbit boarding is such a delightful place, well equipped and spotless, and the owner Ashleigh is so passionate about little animals. Will definitely return again.

We are so pleased to have found Dandelion Cottage! It is lovely boarding and you can really tell just how much Ashleigh cares for all the animals. It's so nice going away and having peace of mind that our mini lop is in great hands, well looked after and always comes back happy. We absolutely recommend Dandelion Cottage!

I can not recommend Dandelion Cottage enough. My boys love it there and get so excited when I leave them. So spacious and even have an outside area :). You also get regular photos and videos and so can enjoy my holiday feeling at ease whilst my boys are also having an amazing holiday.

I found Ashleigh a couple of years ago now and was very impressed with the space the bunnies (and Guinea pigs) had and how nicely the space was decorated! I'd never taken Milo to a bunny hotel before but I'm always pleased with how well he gets looked after and the update photos are a nice touch - it's good to see he's in safe hands! Milo has been looked after by Ashleigh on lots of occasions now and he happily runs away from me as soon as we get there…so it looks like he loves it too!

Ashleigh cared for Simba and Pepper last summer and I'm hoping she will do as again. I was blown away when I first saw her boarding accommodation which is is so clean, spacious and well maintained. She cares for her visitors as if they were her own and nothing is too much trouble. She sent photos via WhatsApp so I could see they had settled and even moved my two buns as they had a noisy neighbour and one was looking a bit anxious! She is very kind and caring and I am so glad I found her.I would not hesitate to recommend Ashleigh and Dandelion Cottage to anyone who wants peace of mind when they leave their fur babies.

Cannot believe how lucky we were finding Dandelion Cottage, it is such a lovely place! Our rabbit, Tonks, has stayed at Dandelion Cottage several times now and she absolutely loves it! Ashleigh takes such good care of her, the rabbit suite she stays in is always immaculately clean and has everything a bunny could ask for! We wouldn't take Tonks anywhere else 😄

Our guinea pigs have stayed here several times over the last year, and are always looked after so well, with regular photos sent to us, which shows how Ashleigh goes above and beyond and is very passionate about looking after all of the pets that stay there. The suites there are amazing with lots of space for the rabbits and guinea pigs, and are always exceptionally clean. We can relax knowing they are being looked after so well when we drop them off, and they never seem to want to leave when we come to collect them 😁 I can't recommend Dandelion Cottage highly enough.

We used Dandelion Cottage 4 times for our Guinea Pigs in 2021 and have had an excellent experience each time. They are given a lovely large space to sleep, eat, run and play, with lots of tunnels and mounds of hay. Ashleigh has a friendly, helpful manner and it's clear that she genuinely loves animals.

We took our 5 guinea pigs to Dandelion Cottage for 16 days. The accommodation is amazing, spacious, clean and secure, and Ashleigh is passionate about what she does. She even bonded our single boar with one of our pairs of girls. We would definitely use Dandelion cottage again and highly recommend it for anyone who loves their guinea pigs and rabbits.

I found researching places to board our bunnies quite daunting. After much research, I found Dandelion cottage and I am so glad and grateful that I did. I hated the idea of our bunnies being in small hutches so I was impressed by the space that Dandelion cottage had to offer. After numerous phone calls, emails and questions to Ashleigh, who could not have been any kinder or more helpful - I truly believe she sees and looks after your animals as if they are her own - we arranged a visit, where I asked more questions and wanted to get a feel for the place. The place was immaculate and incredibly well maintained. Ashleigh was informative and knowledgable, especially as one of our rabbits receives daily medication - this was not an issue and arrangements were discussed should they need to visit a vet whilst in her care. We agreed to book and we were presented with terms and conditions that were clear and useful - she wanted to know lots of information about our rabbits to get them a world class holiday! A drop off and pick up time was arranged that suited us and our plans, and we were always kept up to date with photos, videos and messages. When I messaged to ask how they were, I always got a quick response and I never felt like I was an inconvenience or was fussing. When we collected our rabbits it was evident that they had been loved and cared for. Ashleigh is truly a kind and caring person and we have already booked for our bunnies to stay again this year.

Dandelion Cottage is absolutely wonderful! The facilities are outstanding as is the level of care that my rabbits receive when they stay there. The enclosures are not only beautiful, they are clean, warm and weatherproof, and offer different areas to keep my rabbits stimulated. They have plenty of room to run around and jump. Every time my rabbits stay at Dandelion Cottage I am sent photos of them which is lovely to see. I highly recommend Dandelion Cottage and I'm so happy that I found this wonderful place for my bunnies. Five stars isn't enough!

I came across Dandelion cottage whilst googling for somewhere to board my two bunnies. Everywhere I had found more local to me looked like bunny prisons, small hutches in dark, cold looking sheds. I was starting to stress about it and arranged for them to stay at my Mums (she lives 2.5 hours from me!) Fortunately I then came across Dandelion cottage. I knew straight away this place was amazing. My two bunnies stayed with Ashleigh at Dandelion cottage for two weeks whilst we were on honeymoon. When we arrived, the place looked even more beautiful than the pictures, the facilities are amazing and the design of the out sheds is like a work of art! Once inside it felt warm and snuggly (my two are indoor rabbits and heat worshippers) so I was worried they'd be cold outside but there was no chance of that there as it's heated to a nice temperature. They stayed in the master suit. All the suits looked fab, but I would highly recommend the mast suit if you have more than one rabbit or very curious bunnies like mine! They loved exploring round and Ashleigh moved stuff around in there to keep them entertained. Ashleigh has two of her own rabbits so she knows all about caring for rabbits. I wouldn't hesitate leaving them with her at dandelion cottage again. We received regular updates with photos which was very comforting. When I arrived to pick them up they looked so happy and at home (I was worried they'd be disappointed when they got back to their own home!) 5 star

It is safe to say that we were blown away by Dandelion Cottage. Dandelion Cottage were second to none from the moment we went to first visit them all the way up to when we picked our bunny up after her holiday there. The accommodation was beautiful and bespoke and Isla had plenty of room to safely explore and run around. It was by far the cleanest and safest bunny hotel we visited. The regular updates and pictures of Isla via WhatsApp were so reassuring and allowed us to relax whist we were away knowing that she was at a home away from home. Isla looked so relaxed which was lovely to see. We are so lucky to have found an amazing bunny hotel that we highly recommend. I am so grateful for Ashleigh and her daughter for everything they did for Isla ❤️

Oh my, this is an absolute gem of a place. Our guinea pig Jeff had an amazing stay with the lovely Ashleigh - who is so attentive and caring to the animals. She goes the extra mile to give these little fur babies a home from home experience. The hutches are all spotless, dietary requirements are accommodated for and the hay/veg/water are all fresh. The regular updates are such a lovely touch too - Ashleigh really cares about her clients, the pet and the pets owner!

Thank you so much Ashleigh for looking after our girls for the week. It was our first time using a rabbit hotel and they definitely had 5 star treatment. We will be returning in the summer and I know our precious bunnies will be in good hands. Can't thank you enough for taking such good care of them.

Cannot recommend Dandelion Cottage highly enough. First time we have had pets and needed a service such as this. My children left their guinea pigs in a wonderful environment and received regular photos and updates, it left them very happy in the knowledge their pets were well and being loved. We have already booked again for our next holiday. Thank you Ashleigh.

Boarders Response:Thank you so much Mark, it was my pleasure. I look forward to seeing you next time xxx

My rabbits stayed with Ashleigh before Christmas and I could not recommend this boarding facility enough. Ashleigh is such a kind and caring lady and her accommodation for rabbits and guinea pigs is amazing! So much thought and care has gone into this business and Ashleigh sent me regular pictures on WhatsApp so I could see how my bunnies were settling in. It was great to see them eating and chilling together as I could then relax on my holiday. I will definitely be booking again as soon as we can.
