About Our Boarding Service:

Hutches opened in October 2006.
I have always worked with animals since leaving school a very long time ago.
I have owned all different types of animals from dogs to fish
Hutches only caters for small animals which are just as entitled to happy and comfy boarding as a dog or a cat.
I found that the small animals were not catered for only dogs or cats when I came to find safe boarding for my guinea pigs and hamsters there was no where to go
So here I am offering my services to all caring small animal owners.
HUTCHES IS ALSO A SMALL ANIMAL RESCUE.
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO CARE FOR YOUR PET PLEASE GET IN TOUCH AND I WILL FIND IT A GREAT NEW HOME.
We do not board dogs, cats, birds, spiders or reptiles.
HUTCHES WILL BE CLOSED THIS YEAR 3RD AUGUST TO 20TH AUGUST 2010.

Accomodation:
Rabbits and guinea pigs are accommodated either in outside or inside hutches at owners request in one of my 50 hutches or cages.
Chinchillas can use my chinchilla cage unless it is unavailable.
Hamsters, gerbils and mice should bring their own cages.
Please also bring their exercise balls if you wish me to exercise them.
All animals are checked and fed twice a day I will provide the food at no extra cost or if owners prefer they can bring their own food.
Exercise:
All rabbits and guinea pigs have access to my outside runs that are fully supervised by myself at all times every day
If the weather is too bad for the animals to go out then they are exercised inside so they have a chance to stretch their legs at least and extra hay is provided on these days
Hamsters and mice can be exercised in their own exercise balls which the owners should bring with them.
Health & Hygiene:
Rabbits require a valid vets cert for myxomatosis and VHD to spend time at hutches
Hutches will take your animal to our vets if your animal becomes unwell while boarding at Hutches and you must pay for the vet fees on return.
Hutches uses Johnsons hutch and cage spray and formula H every time the hutch is cleaned.
All of my pets are treated with mite and flea treatment every 6 weeks.
Small Pet Boarding Tarif
Rabbits £20 per full week per hutch (hutch provided).
Guinea Pigs £15.00 per full week per hutch.
(hutch provided).
Chinchillas £12 per full week in our cage if available (you may be ask to bring your own cage if ours is in use).
Hamsters and other small furry friends is
£10.00 per full week Per Cage (own cage)
Payment by cash or cheque only payable on drop off.

All fees are paid in advance any further charges (vets bills) are payable before release of your pet.

Monday to Saturday 10am to 6pm
Sundays and Bank Holidays by Appointment
If you are not expected or need out of hours boarding please telephone prior to arriving.

Animals are catered for over the Christmas and New year period.
But do not open for pick up or drop off's on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day.

Other Services
All animals are groomed daily so don't forget to bring your brush (don't worry if you forget I have my own set)
Hutches now sells bags of good quality meadow hay £3 per bag and Megazorb bedding £7.50 per bag.
We sell small bags of rabbit/guinea pigs food starting at £2.50 per bag (mixed food) or £3 per bag (nugget food).
