About our Small Pet Boarding

Pets are more than just animals– they are part of your family- loved and cared for just like any other member. We aim to give you complete peace of mind whilst you are apart.

A home from Home.

Accommodation:

Your pet will be housed in their own large wooden hutch in an air-conditioned shed-they will not mix with the other pets. There are only ten hutches in the boarding shed- eight very large – and 2 smaller ones that we would only use for single bunnies & Guinea pigs.
Apartment 1-3
These apartment are 140cm (5ft) long-70 (2ft6") deep-56cm (22") high- a floor space of 1650.
Apartment 4-6
These apartment are 168cm (6ft) long-70 (2ft6") deep-56cm (22") high- a floor space of 2100.
Apartment 7 & 8 are 110cm (4ft) long-70 (2ft6") deep-46cm (18") high- a floor space of 1440
Apartment 9 & 10 are 170cm (6ft) long-70 (2ft6") deep-46/56cm
Every hutch has fly screening over the wire doors, there are pull out plastic trays that can be thoroughly cleaned between guests. Each hutch has a large resting shelf, hayrack and internal water bottle holder.

Exercise:

Access to an outside runs is by request, we have a large garden with various sized runs. However we do prefer your pets to remain in their large hutches as we feel they are fully protected here from predators, and disease. We can not disinfect grass areas completely in between guests and we do have wild rabbits that visit the garden.

Health & Hygiene:

Every hutch/apartment is thoroughly cleaned in between guests using Virkon. Hutches are cleaned out every other day, litter trays emptied daily.

Small Pet Boarding Prices

Rabbits:
Single Boarder - £10.00 small cage or £12 large / Bonded pair Sharing - £12.00 Day/night.
Guinea Pigs:
Single Boarder - £8.00 / 2 bonded pair Sharing - £12 / 3 bonded Friends Sharing - £13.00-day/night.
SUMMER OFFER- NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR BANK HOLIDAYS.
Please be aware that on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day we charge “double-time” Other Bank holidays are time and a half. (No Drop off's or collection on these days.)

Other Services

Services: GroomingClaw Clipping

Extras:
Up-graded vegetable option-75p a day extra.
Heat Lamp added to cage £1.50 a day/night extra.
Claw Clipping - £7.00 single pet, £10 for pair.
Spot on Treatment: £4 per pet.
Panacur treatment: £8 -9 day course per rabbit.
Administrating medications: £1 a day
Full groom out: £10 ( up to 45 minutes) including eye trim, bottom trim if required.
Pet collection or delivery of pets: 38P a mile & £12 an hour -round trip. Please ask for a quote.
