About our Small Pet Boarding
Guinea PigsBirdsHamsters, Mice etc.Im Becki and i have 20+ years experience in keeping small animals, as I have grown older my depth of knowledge, in this field, has grown and adapted. I am so lucky that my husband shares this passion with me.
Animal Welfare is at the heart of everything we do.
Currently, we share our home with 8 rescued guinea pigs and a hamster, so are well versed in animal care and needs.
We look forward to welcoming your precious pets into our home and hearts.
Accommodation:
We are offer indoor accommodation only, so you can be sure that your pets will be cosy and snug. We use C & C set ups that are easily adaptable to minimum requirements but believe in bigger is better. Our pet room is monitored with cameras so we can keep a close eye on them and their zoomies.
Exercise:
Your small pet will be offered floor time if or if a smaller breed time in a play pen.
Health & Hygiene:
We do not offer crossover boarding so the set up your pet /s have will not have been used that day by any others this allows for thorough cleaning and disinfecting.
Upon arrival we will undertake a quick health check.
We are able to administer medication for any pre-existing medical conditions that must be disclosed at the point of booking.

Rebecca runs an amazing boarding service. Being a busy NHS worker, Nana and running The Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue it's just so reassuring to have someone so knowledgable about Guinea Pigs. Rebecca is now one of my foster team but also looks after my own Guinea Pigs when I go on holiday. Her accommodation is spacious, clean with everything my Guinea Pigs need for their holiday !!

We have taken our piggies to wheeks away for claw clipping a few times and the service is brilliant, super quick and professional and Becky is really knowledgeable about piggies and always up for a chat. We've booked our entire herd of piggies in (nobody ask how many we have as I stopped counting at 10 🙈🤪) for our wedding and honeymoon and as the anxious person I am, I fired thousands of questions at this poor lady and she dutifully answered everything without any hint that I was annoying her (which I would annoy even myself with my endless questions). I know my piggies will be in the absolute best hands and I'm excited to see photos of them on their holidays!

We used Wheeks Away for our very hairy guinea pigs. They went for a hair cut and nail trim. Everything was amazing from start to finish. Highly recommended. We've now booked for them to stay when we go on holiday.
